April 14, 200916 yr So The Draft was tonight: MVP got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Big Show got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Melina got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Matt Hardy got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Triple H got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW CM Punk got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN The Miz got drafted from ECW -> RAW Kane got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Chris Jericho got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Vladimir Kozlov got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> ECW Maryse got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Rey Mysterio got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Thoughts/opinions? Just as The Miz got drafted he turned on Morrison (YESSSSSS) HOPEFULLY it's a sign of good things to come for Morrison! Supplemental drafts ALL DAY on WEDNESDAY! on wwe.com :P
April 14, 200916 yr Batista, Cena & Triple H all on Raw? Yeah, think I much prefer SD now LOL. Good to see ECW kept all of their main people aswell, unless the supplemental draft changes that. Bourne/Swagger/Christian/Morrison as the main 4 on ECW over the next 12 months will almost be as great as Jericho/Edge/Punk/Taker/Jeff on SD, if not as good. Batista/Cena/HHH/Orton, blahdy blah.
April 14, 200916 yr Triple H to Raw? Well that was TOTALLY unexpected. He's been on Raw more times than Smackdown since he was drafted over in the last draft. I think Rey and Jericho are more suited to Smackdown so that's pleasing, wish Kane stayed on Raw though. :( Looking forward to the supplemental draft on Wednesday, before the draft a wrestling "insider" said that both Edge and Big Show would end up on Raw. :o Big Show is already there (ready to continue his storyline with Vicky? What about Edge?...) and it's possible that Edge could be moved over in the supplemental draft, although I think it's pretty likely that Edge will be moved to Raw or Cena will be moved to Smackdown. As Smackdown is now without a World Title, which won't last for long I would imagine!
April 14, 200916 yr I hope they keep Christian and Evan on ECW! They're the only one's left keeping that brand alive :( (Oh and Nattie's Boyfriend who has big potential) John Morrison needs to be moved to Smackdown for a MAJOR singles push :drama: I can't believe it looks like they're going to be giving The Miz the push that they should be giving Morrison :( But this draft is pretty $h!t this year in all honesty... it's just like all those that moved last year, have moved back, or to the other brand. Kozlov moving to ECW was so LOL-worthy, it just proves that WWE doesn't give a $h!t about ECW anymore!
April 14, 200916 yr You know Jonjo, that's exactly how I felt when I was watching the show. It was as if they'd just swapped back to their Brands before last year's Draft. It was all so lame. I'm glad Jericho will be away from HHH, as we all know how Trips feels towards the guy. Kane to Smackdown? Boring. It's reported that he's going to be retiring in the summer, so maybe one last singles push? They need to do something o rejuvenate his charater, though. CM Punk to SD sound fresh, but that's as far as it gets for me. The rest were predictable, and boring. At least last year had some major shocks. I loved how the commentators went nuts for H's move to Raw. It was as if the Draft actually matters, even though he's been on Raw almost every week since February. WWE needs progression, bad. There's so little changing, and that title needs to come off Trips ASAP. At least we'll get a Jericho v. Undertaker program in the near future. I have such sympathy for Orton. They've ruined his character. He could've been the new modern day bad ass. Instead, we get Trips and the McMahons masturbating over themselves ten years after they were actually relevant. Why are they trying so hard to make Triple H look good? I'm fed up with them wanting Trips to be the next Hulk Hogan, or something. It's gone on long enough. They need to realise his slow paced, long 30 minute "classics" are not going to garner the kind of reception to that of Austin, Rocky, Hogan or even Cena. You'd think after 10 years of H in main events they'd realise that. I know I'm like a broken record with the Triple H $h!t, and he was exciting back in 99-01, but it's just too worn now. They could've had the next big thing with Orton, but they failed to capitalise. Oh well, he might even win the belt at Backlash... but I bet H won't be the one putting him over. April 15, 200916 yr SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT: Kennedy got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Shad got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Alicia Fox got drafted from ECW -> RAW Primo got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Mike Knox got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Ezekiel Jackson got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> ECW Nikki Bella got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Candice Michelle got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Zack Ryder got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> ECW Chavo Guerrero got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Ricky Ortiz got drafted from ECW -> SMACKDOWN Layla got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Hornswoggle got drafted from ECW -> RAW DH Smith got drafted from RAW -> ECW John Morrison got drafted from ECW -> SMACKDOWN Carlito got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Natalya got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> ECW Festus got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW JTG got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Dolph Ziggler got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN The Brian Kendrick got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW Charlie Haas got drafted from RAW -> SMACKDOWN Hurricane Helms got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> ECW Brie Bella got drafted from SMACKDOWN -> RAW With Natalya, DH Smith and Natalya's Boyfriend; Tyson Kidd, all on ECW... The New Hart Foundation is upon us... FINALLY :P Some Good changes in this draft, however some completely, "Am I Bovered?" sorta drafts! Kennedy to RAW :w00t:, Morrison to Smackdown :w00t: and The tag champs moved to RAW :w00t: Not too bothered about the rest TBH!.. (Obviously the Hart Family thing is good to look forward too!)
April 15, 200916 yr Well, that was pointless. Kennedy back to Raw? Please, he'll just get lost in the shuffle. His injuries will hinder any kind of long term main event stint, so I've given up on the guy. After reading the spoilers for Smackdown, this Draft seems even more pointless. Seriously, read the spoilers and see what the main event is and you'll realise why. It really looks as if WWE are going with alternating stars on Raw & Smackdown.

It really looks as if WWE are going with alternating stars on Raw & Smackdown.Don't forget that Smackdown Spoilers were taped yesterday so they can only show who got drafted from Monday's RAW as they couldn't really give away who was going to Smackdown :heehee: I know what you mean with Kennedy though! But I hope WWE team him up with MVP and take on Carlito and Primo for the Unified Tag Championships! :D
April 15, 200916 yr Yeah, I just want to see further interaction between Kennedy & MVP. I'm finding face MVP a little boring at the moment, as I really feel he was started to find his own as a heel a couple of months ago. The Smackdown main event is Batista v. Ted DiBiase. Trips was on SD too, continuing his program with Orton. I have a feeling this cross-brand interaction will continue, and while I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, it just makes the Draft look so illogical.
April 16, 200916 yr The draft seems stupid now as they are all mixing within all brands anyway however i think their are lots of good drafts :D
April 16, 200916 yr Author I wouldn't care about the draft that much too, but some are needed to be drafted to another Brand. :) I think the McMahon-HHH thing is too old now. :( That angle should finish as quick as Backlash. :(
April 16, 200916 yr I feel they're going to go down the route of HHH v. Orton HIAC as the blow-off. Lets hope the right guy goes over here, yeah? Anyway, did anyone see Bourne v. Mysterio on RAW? Man, they just click. I know they had a RAW match a while ago, but they were both terribly short. I'm hoping we get a PPV match between the two at some point.
April 16, 200916 yr ECW tonight... Bourne vs Morrison and it was supposed to be "AMAZING!" So I'm REALLY looking forward to that! and yeah, Bourne vs Rey are always so short!I guess they want to save it for incase one of them becomes heel so they can have a major feud or something...
April 17, 200916 yr Whats this Superstars programme starting. Also is their really 2 championships on Smackdown ATM :o
April 17, 200916 yr "Superstars" is a new weekly show, airing matches involving stars from all three Brands. It debuted on WGN yesterday. They've yet to secure a deal to air the show in the UK, but it's only a matter of time. The card was: Undertaker v. Matt Hardy; Christian v. Finlay in the ECW Title Elimination Chase Finals; Shane McMahon v. Cody Rhodes. I think it'll end up being like "Metal", "Velocity" etc. allowing the lower-card guys to get some TV time. So, Christian won the Elimination Chase on "Superstars". I think he'll take the belt from Swagger at Backlash. As far as Smackdown having two titles, yes, they only hold the Intercontinental and Women's Titles. It was reported RAW would come out of the Draft looking superior, and that's whats happened. I think it's only a matter of time before Smackdown win back one of the World Titles, though.
April 17, 200916 yr WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel announced at last night's Raw house show in Dublin, Ireland that the Undertaker's retirement tour would take place in April 2010. WWE.com has the retirement tour listed under Germany's scheduled events as, "WWE SmackDown & ECW Present Undertaker's Rest In Peace Tour." Below are the tour dates: Thu, Nov 5 WWE SmackDown & ECW Present Undertaker's Rest In Peace Tour - Frankfurt, Germany 8:00pm Wed, Nov 11 WWE SmackDown & ECW Present Undertaker's Rest In Peace Tour - Stuttgart, Germany 8:00pm Thu, Nov 12 WWE SmackDown & ECW Present Undertaker's Rest In Peace Tour - Leipzig, Germany 8:00pm Fri, Nov 13 WWE SmackDown & ECW Present Undertaker's Rest In Peace Tour - Hamburg, Germany 7:00pm Well, it looks like next year's Wrestlemania will be his last. It'll be a spectacle, that's for sure. I'm hoping it's Undertaker v. Cena, because he's probably the only star I could see Taker losing the streak to. I don't want him to lose the streak, but I think it's the best scenario as everyone knew the outcome of Taker v. HBK. It's time to throw a little uncertainty into Wrestlemania.
April 17, 200916 yr Well I think CM Punk and his Money In The Bank will see to Smackdown winning a title back... The way I see things playing out is that at Backlash we'll see Triple H's team fall apart and Batista will end up giving Shane the Batista Bomb and Randy covers for the easy win and thus the title. It's the best way to get the title on Randy without actually denting Triple H. CM Punk hinted in some interview that he would cash in MITB at Judgement Day because it's his home town etc. But that would in effect leave Smackdown without a World Title for another 2 months which I don't see happening. Unless Edge beats Cena at Backlash and wins the World Title back, which I don't see happening to be honest... Or unless Edge beats Cena, then CM Punk cashes in after the match? Gah I don't know! I don't think it'll be long until they get a World Title though, they need to keep the balance right. They always refuse to admit that Raw is the "A Show" (which everybody knows fine well anyway) and thus they won't want it to seem that way by giving them both World Titles. Oh and yeah Christian WILL beat Swagger at Backlash, not a doubt in my mind!

April 19, 200916 yr Hm, so Hardy v. Hardy in an I Quit match has been added to the card. This program is a joke now. If the feud were to continue, they shouldn't have given a STRETCHER match away on free TV. It was reported Matt's departure from Smackdown would close the program, but obviously plans have changed. So, four matches have been announced and there's one week to go. That's just lame. Remember the days of WWE promoting a near-full card 3-4 weeks in advance?
April 26, 200916 yr OK, so the "Rest in Peace" tour will not be his retirement tour as WWE now claim, but I think it will. Shawn is expected to be out until July. His knees are hurting, which has been pretty clear for the last year or so. And... HHH and Orton had another boring match on RAW. What's new? So, anyway, Backlash is tonight, so I'll give my predictions: Team HHH v. Team Legacy - I think Orton's going to go over and win the belt here. It's such a lame stipulation, and Batista should turn heel. Orton should pin Trips for the belt, but that's not going to happen, is it? Cena v. Edge LMS - I think WWE have done a really good job in promoting this match. It's been a great, but stale feud. They've built this to be the epic final confrontation (at least for 2 months ;)) and it's paying off, I think. It's the match I'm most looking forward to, because whenever there's a gimmick match between these two, it delivers. I think Edge will win, as Cena's shooting his movie in May & SD has no champion. Jericho v. Steamboat - I'm hyped for this. Steamboat looked better than half the WWE roster at Mania, and in the 8-man tag on RAW, but how long will he last? Jericho should and will go over here. Hardy v. Hardy I Quit - Lame, lame, lame. I understand why they've been burying Jeff here, but the stipulations have KILLED this program. I'm guessing if Jeff goes over tonight, he's going to re-sign. If not, then Matt will win. CM Punk v. Kane - Seriously? They had to re-do their match on RAW because it was that bad. It's baffling to see why this was added to the card. I would rather watch Khali v. Santino (as an actual match). Swagger v. Christian - They had a good match on TV a couple of months back. Christian's winning the belt. I'm only really excited for Cena v. Edge & Jericho v. Steamboat. The rest of the card is totally uninteresting. I long for the day when Bourne & Morrison are consistently on PPVs. BTW, that Bourne v. Morrison match on ECW 14.04 was killer. Edited April 26, 200916 yr by AAC
