Lady GaGa manages a 2nd successive week at number 1.

Number 1 for the second week is Lady GaGa's second single, 'Poker Face'. Lady GaGa has become a world-wide phenomenan. 'Just Dance' was number 1 in 6 different countries (Including the UK) and this has already been to number 1 in triple the amount of countries. 'Poker Face' is now spending it's eleventh week in the Top 30. This week also looks like it could be her week in the US too, as she is on course for getting her 2nd US number 1 over there too.

This weeks highest new entry comes from The Noisettes. The Noisettes are a three-piece, indie-rock band from London. They have had minor commercial success, late 2006/early 2007. With the singles 'Don't Give Up' and 'Sister Rosetta (Capture the Spirit)' where they peaked at 73 and 63. But early 2009 is where they recieve their biggest hit to date and is new this week at number 2. 'Don't Upset the Rhythm' is an Indie/Disco track, that will set the dancefloor's alight. People may also recognise the song and it's infectious hook, from the Mazda car advert.

Down the one place this week, and on physical release week, is Flo Rida and his hit, 'Right Round'. Having a run of {1}-2-2-3, so far, Flo Rida is looking on course to outsell last year's smash 'Low', which sold over 300,000 copies. 'Right Round' has currently sold over 200,000 copies in it's first four weeks of release.

This weeks number 4, is Beyonce and her hit 'Halo', which is up another 5 spots to a new peak, so far moving 40-20-9-{4} in it's first month in the charts. At number 5 this week, and climbing 15 places are The Pussycat Dolls and A.R. Rahman with their single 'Jai Ho'. The song is originally taken from the hit movie 'Slumdog Millionaire'. However, the one that feature's in the movie, doesn't feature The Pussycat Dolls.

Moving on and this week's number 6, is Taylor Swift who had the longest run at number 5 since the Fray did it back in 2007 with their hit 'How to Save a Life' which spent four consecutive weeks at number 5. Falling down the one place to number 7 this week is T.I. with his hit 'Dead & Gone'. At 8 this week and down the one place this week is 'Beautiful' by Akon. Which has had a pretty consistent run of 60-56-66R(4)-59-53-52-56-54-56-30-13-9-{8}-8 in it's first 14 weeks within the Top 75.

Up 13 places to number 9 this week, is Metro Station and their debut single 'Shake It', which recieves help from their physical release, which was released this week. Rounding off the top 10 this week is Kelly Clarkson with the former number 1 'My Life Would Suck Without You. Which is down the 3 spots this week along with the album which is also at number 10 coincidentally.

Steve Angello and Laidback Luke have reworked a 90's classic for their new record. 'Show Me Love' was originally a hit for Robin S in 1993 where it peaked at number 6 and again in 1997, where it peaked at number 9. This reworking, manages to debut at a respectable number 12 this week, and looks like it could climb that little bit further next week.

Lily Allen provides us with the 3rd highest new entry this week, with her 2nd single 'Not Fair', taken from her 2nd album 'It's Not Me, It's You'. 'Not Fair' debut's at number 16 on downloads alone, with thanks to a performance on 'Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway' aswell as the video's premiere last Saturday.

New in at 18 is the new dance craze 'Head, Shoulders, Kneez and Toez' by the K.I.G. Crew. It has become the biggest dance craze since 2004's 'Cha, Cha Slide' which peaked at number 1. Benefitting from an official download release date, is Enrique Iglesias and Ciara's duet 'Takin' Back My Love' which is up 10 spots to number 20 this week. It becomes Enrique's 11th UK Top 20 hit and Ciara's 7th UK Top 20 hit.

The White Lies come in at 34 this week, with their second top 40 single, 'Farewell to the Fairground', which recieved a much needed boost from the physical release. Their previous single 'To Lose My Life' went on to peak at number 34 and spent a total of two weeks inside the top 40 and four weeks in the Top 75.

The next new entry comes from Jennifer Hudson and her second UK single, 'If This Isn't Love', which enters at number 37 this week. It is her second Top 40 hit, as 'Spotlight' managed to peak at number 11, and managed to spend a total of 24 weeks inside the Top 75. To finish off this week we have a new entry at number 40 for Asher Roth. 'I Love College' has become a big hit in America's Billboard Hot 100 where it has currently peaked at number 14.

In this weeks album chart, Ronan Keating is a non-mover at the top spot with his 'Songs for my Mother' album. The album is for charity and has managed to beat off tough competition from Pet Shop Boys to hold steady at the top. In the runner's up position this week are Kings of Leon with their million selling album 'Only By the Night' which is back up a place this week to number 2, after 27 weeks in the album charts.

Back up four places this week for Lady GaGa who manages to climb back to her original peak of 3 this week. 'The Fame' has so far moved {3}-4-4-5-13-7-5-4-8-7-3 in it's first eleven weeks on the chart. This weeks highest new entry and only new entry inside the Top 10 this week comes from Pet Shop Boys and their new album 'Yes', which has debuted at number 4 this week. 'Yes' has become their highest peaking album since 'Bilingual' peaked at number 4 in 1996. Rounding off the Top 5 is Annie Lennox as she falls 3 places to 5.

Seventh week in the chart and making a welcomed return to the top 10 for Lily Allen and her second album 'It's Not Me, It's You' climbs 10 places to number 6 this week. The Prodigy are also making a return back to the Top 10 as they climb 5 to 7,and Akon has managed to reach a brand new peak at number 8 and enters the Top 10 albums chart for the first time since release 17 weeks ago. U2 slip 3 places to 9 this week, just as Kelly manages to get both the Number 10 single and number 10 album this week as 'All I Ever Wanted' slips 2 places.

Very quiet release week, starting from tomorrow. Jack Penate 'Tonight's Today' and Doves 'Kingdom of Rust' are the main contenders to challenge for a Top 40 placing. However download only releases from Just Jack 'Embers' and Lady Sovereign 'So Human', could both challenge for high places next week. Aswell as debuts from Flo Rida feat. Ne-Yo 'Be On You' could very well chart in the top 40 next week.

Album's that could challenge Ronan for the number 1 spot next week come from Flo Rida and Metro Station. Flo Rida releases his second album 'R.O.O.T.S.' tomorrow and on the back of a number 1 single, could he get his first UK Top 10 album? Metro Station are the next main threats for Ronan. 'Shake It' has just gone top 10, will their debut album 'Metro Station' do the same?
