Hmm...I get the feeling I'm going to be disappointing some people come Sunday. I haven't done as much of my assignment as I was hoping to get done by now. I'm under a third of the way through. I was going to do a third a day starting from Thursday, to be done in time for the BJSC. But on Thursday I kinda saw the first question and cowered. I started it today but only got through the first 27% of the marks available before stalling again. Apparently I didn't prepare properly for this. Ideally it needs to be sent off on Monday morning really. I'll try and get through as much as I can manage of it tomorrow but it's beginning to look like it will need to run into Sunday.

 

In short: I'm not sure if I'll be done with the assignment in time to host a spectacular show on Sunday. Thankfully revealing the qualifiers shouldn't take too much prep and I may be able to get it done. But if I don't...sorry in advance. I should have thought about hosting before I took the offer, perhaps.

 

As others have said, your assignment is the most important thing to worry about.

 

If necessary just do a minimalistic Semi Final results thread by just posting the Final qualifiers and the running order on Sunday night instead of stringing it out for 2 to 3 hours.

 

Although it would be less entertaining, I would have no problems at all if you did that.

and Aaron your assingment is far more important! You could always ask somebody else to reveal the results........maybe somebody who isn't participating in the contest so participants won't know the semi results.

Personally, I would be happy to wait til Monday for results Aaron. Definitely concentrate on your work and don't worry about this so much. As W would say - sho ga nai! :heehee:

Hmm...Gary had the same issue. Weird though, I've had votes from other people, don't know why it's picking on a few people. I've changed it to Aaron*, check again to see if it works. I can't imagine it was the . :s

That's an interesting question. I usually eat dinner any time between 6pm and 7pm, I can't really ask mum when she's cooking dinner tomorrow, I doubt she'd even know. Perhaps I'll say 8pm (UK time) to be safe? I don't know if that's a sensible time to do it.

 

This is if I can do it tomorrow at all. I think I should be able to, my assignment has to be there by the 8th, meaning I could probably post it on the 7th, giving me an extra day to work on it, if necessary.
