I haven't seen Green Day on music channels once, how have so many heard it?

 

I think all the hype surrounding it, its getting there, I've only heard it once, and that was just a quick snip of it.

The psychology of it Britster...it will never be as bad as you thought it would be, cos due to the comment you will imagine it to be the worst thing known to man. You have already been 'conditioned' lol! If, you had watched it the 1st time live, without hearing anyone else's opinion, well.....

I think most people's issue with the entire farce was that, actually, it appears she doesn't have any personality whatsoever. If she does she didn't give any of it in the interview...

I think she was being intentionally awkward in the interview, they totally clashed. I haven't seen many of her other interviews but it's hard to believe someone with no personality can write the sorts of songs she writes and come alive in 'crazy' performances like that. I suppose being a talented writer and performer doesn't necessarily make a talented interviewee.

It was the first time I'd seen her do a full interview or live performance

 

It was quite something :P

Wow, that performance was TERRIBLE. DREADFUL.

 

Everyday I'm more convinced that she's a just a novelty hype artist. :cheer: :cheer:

I think Gaga will be around to stay, I think she'll have a similar chart time to that of Gwen Stefani.

Just checked this live performance by her. She didn't sing bad but these Steven Tyler-esque (of Aerosmith) screams doesn't suit her, she shouldn't do that, they were awful :wacko:

I didn't think the performance was THAT bad!

The screams were quite odd, but why shouldn't she change it a bit, she's probably bored of performing the same thing over and over again!

They added something to it, which I actually liked! Never thought I'd be DEFENDING GaGa against members of BJ :mellow:

 

The interview was just plain odd though

I'll see if I can find the interview, I hate Jonathon Ross, but I'll watch it anyway.

It was a theatrical performance; I firmly believe it was her intention to shock the audience, looks like she succeeded.

 

The interview wasn’t nearly as bad as some people are making out. It showed up Jonathan Ross’ poor interview technique more than anything. He seemed more interested in getting humour out of her name and fashion than asking anything meaningful. Kinda reminds me when Parkinson got on the wrong side of Meg Ryan. :lol:

I've posted it in the 'Poker Face' topic in the Pop forum. She basically gives a lot of one word answers and seems like she'd rather be somewhere else. Ethan is right though, she was kinda ripping him for asking poor questions. She seemed quite open to talk about the meaning of 'Poker Face' which was a worthy question.

The interview is on iPlayer. Prepare to laugh in a pitiful manner :(

Yeah, he kinda made her seem weird by the answers she was giving too. I felt bad for her when the audience and Jonathan wera pretty much laughing at her and she said ''Why are you laughing?''. :(

It's weird, coz I've seen her in other interviews and she's not been like this AT ALL. :unsure: I don't honestly think she'll lose too much support though, it'll only be haters of her already who will have more reason to dislike her.

Oh god, she acted like she was so up herself. Poor Jonathon, I can't believe how stuck up she was. I'm in shock!

 

As for the performance, it was interesting and not all that bad.

The interview really wasn't that bad, I mean watch this interview and the GaGa one looks amazing:
