Only projects created during and after the life of Blink (and for Travis, since he joined Blink).

A bit on each act:

+44

+44 (also known as Plus 44 and often stylized as (+44)) is an alternative rock and pop punk band. The band was formed by current Blink-182 members Mark Hoppus (vocals and bass guitar) and Travis Barker (drums, percussion and keyboards), also consisting of former Transplants touring guitarist Craig Fairbaugh and the lead guitarist of The Nervous Return, Shane Gallagher. The band name refers to the international dialing code of the United Kingdom, the country where Hoppus and Barker first discussed the project.

Angels and Airwaves

Angels & Airwaves (also known as "AVA") is an alternative rock group fronted by Blink-182 and former Box Car Racer guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge. The band includes guitarist David Kennedy, notably from Over My Dead Body, Hazen Street and Box Car Racer, former Rocket From the Crypt and Offspring drummer Atom Willard, and former 30 Seconds to Mars bassist Matt Wachter, who replaced former The Distillers bassist Ryan Sinn in May 2007. The band has released two albums thus far: We Don't Need to Whisper and I-Empire. They released a documentary entitled Start the Machine on June 17, 2008, and also plan on releasing a feature film involving their music, entitled I-Empire.

Box Car Racer

Box Car Racer was a side-project from two members of the band Blink-182, featuring guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker. DeLonge formed Box Car Racer to experiment with and record ideas he felt were not "Blink-friendly", along with Travis Barker. David Kennedy from Hazen Street completed the trio and an eponymous album was ready to be recorded. Tom was insistent on a bass player, so he hired Anthony Celestino who was Kennedy's friend. Guests on the album included Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 on the song "Elevator", and Tim Armstrong from Rancid and Jordan Pundik from New Found Glory on "Cat Like Thief".

DeLonge and Barker claim the group was heavily influenced by Dischord emo, citing influences such as Rites of Spring, Fugazi and later era post-hardcore bands such as Quicksand.

Box Car Racer took a hiatus after their headlining tour in 2003. DeLonge has stated publicly that the project has served its purpose, and is now permanently defunct.

Expensive Taste

Expensive Taste (styled as Expen$ive Taste) is an American hip hop group formed by Paul Wall, Skinhead Rob (Transplants), and +44's Travis Barker (The Aquabats, Blink-182, Box Car Racer, and Transplants). Expensive Taste recently released a 15-track mixtape for free from a newly registered website, but it is unknown when the band will have time to tour, as Barker's priority is with +44 and Blink-182 and Wall is working on his next album.

Transplants

Transplants are an American punk rock/hip-hop supergroup. They formed in 1999 when Tim Armstrong of the band Rancid played his friend and roadie Rob Aston some beats he had made using Pro Tools and asked Rob if he would consider contributing lyrics. Initially, Tim played all the instruments himself but as the project grew, he invited musician friends such as Matt Freeman (Rancid), Lars Frederiksen (Rancid), and Vic Ruggiero (The Slackers) to add to the sound. Before long, Tim and Rob decided to officially form a band, but to make things complete, they wanted a drummer, so Travis Barker from Blink-182 was asked to join in 2002.

Tim first became inspired to work with loops and samples after being introduced to London's speed/garage scene by Kerrang! magazine writer Mörat in the mid-90s.

The group's music is a combination of hip hop, reggae, drum n bass, dub, and punk. Although many are used sparingly throughout the album, punk and rap remain as the most prominent styles. Lyrically, Rob Aston describes their songs as ranging from topics such as murder ("Quick Death") to the passing of a loved one ("Sad But True") to failed friendships ("We Trusted You").

After the release of their first album, The Transplants briefly disbanded in 2003, due to all members being involved in their own projects, including Rancid and Blink-182. Then in 2004, they reunited to record their second album (Haunted Cities) before going on hiatus again.

TRV$ DJAM

With two turntables and a full drum kit, drummer impresario TRAVIS BARKER and world class DJ AM expose music enthusiasts to a threatening new performance style. While captivating audiences at every show, AM and TRAVIS combine anything from hip-hop to rock to 80’s tunes. NO genre goes untouched.

The only i know and ... like a bit lol... 'Adventures' that's how i think the song is called

AVA

I've never really understood why it's AVA though, not A&A

Anyway, I don't exactly love them, but they're my favourite out of the side projects. I think I'd probably prefer +44 if I gave them a bit of a chance, becasue what I have heard of them is pretty good. I'll give them a listen soon...

For me its Transplants, because its got that essence of Rancid, another favourite band of mine, but is mixed with a fine bit of hip hop and some good drumming.
