July 3, 201312 yr Great track on first listen, very anthemic chorus and always good to discover new music from South Africa, a country that's output rarely pops up on blogs and the like so often goes unheard to most of us!
July 3, 201312 yr Author Great track on first listen, very anthemic chorus and always good to discover new music from South Africa, a country that's output rarely pops up on blogs and the like so often goes unheard to most of us! Ta x100 for that Rich! You'd LOVE ChianoSky's debut album 'Hungry' actually! Definitely your type of thing I'd think! The only worry I have is if "Walking Away" is a strong enough comeback and will it crossover to the indie voters? I'm so out of touch with what is popular and in-trend in BJSC at the moment. :drama:
July 15, 201312 yr Author Kathaldazia's big comeback might not be so big after all After a 3 year absence in the BuzzJack Song Contest, Kathaldazia have returned with entries 'What You Do 2 Me' by Crazy White Boy in BJSC LVI and 'Alone' by Liquideep in BJFestivalen. Both entries have received mediocre to poor odds from critics, and media reports are saying that KTDZ are likely to DNQ in both contests. A DNQ result in both contests will severely damage the country's reputation. Concern has been shown by previous Kathaldazia BJSC entrant, Jody, who finished 2nd in BJSC some years ago, "I think choosing male-sung vocalists as representative for KTDZ in BJSC was a huge mistake". The singer went on to add, "Female artists are always safer and more likely to win." Some citizens have even gone on strike with regard to their disappointment at the reception current KTDZ entrants have received in BJSC. Liquideep is currently in Andra Chansen in BJFestvalen and Crazy White Boy is predicted to DNQ in BJSC LVI. Outrage has also been manifested at the KTDZ's capital, Disco Heaven, where lamp posts in the city's main street have been demolished and replaced with cardboard posters containing the word "BJSC IS SEXIST". - Published by KTDZ Mirror on 15 July 2013.
February 16, 201411 yr Author Kathaldazia have gone with yet another South African entry #proudlySA JBzf8_pdON8 F.Eu 'Cool & Deadly' (feat. Nyanda) F.Eu are a South African DJ duo, the female vocalist Nyanda was in female duo Brick & Lace. It's a dance/house-like song that's immaculately produced with some gorgeous beat drops and synths while Nyanda provides an insanely wild catchy vocal which could be likened to Ms Dynamite or even Nicki Minaj to an extent. Some of the key lyrics are~ YOU NEED A SPANKIN' YOU TOO CRUEL JAMMIN' JAMMIN' JAMMIN' I LIKE YA STYLE I LIKE YA FLAVA Could this entry give BJSC spanking? Predictions please? KTDZ would love to make a top 10 return! #justiceforKathaldazia
