April 14, 200916 yr Author Anyway, predict away just minus the drama from the last Kelly prediction thread. In the same hooligan-veign as "My life would give amazing blowies without you" -_-
April 14, 200916 yr I think this is very mediocre and I think the public will realise that too - it's nowhere near as good as most of the singles that Kelly has releasesd. I reckon it will scrape top 10 at #9. Already Gone will go top 5 though.
April 14, 200916 yr Diabolical. :manson: I Do Not Hook Up is yet another overtly blasé uninspired generic piece of turgid middle-of-the-road rockLITE rubbish. Insufferably boring it regurgitates her Breakaway formula with banally monotonous results. :puke: Without Martin/Dr Luke onboard - flop ahoy! No19! B) :smoke:
April 14, 200916 yr ^ We all remember your last prediction which turned out to be wildly inaccurate so hopefully you've just guaranteed another success. ;):D How long did it take you to write that post too? Did you have Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com open? :kink: Edited April 14, 200916 yr by Ethereal
April 14, 200916 yr ^ We all remember your last prediction which turned out to be wildly inaccurate so hopefully you've just guaranteed another success. ;):D What a fallacious argument! I see no logical thinking that connects the two outcomes. I Do Not Hook Up I can confidently assure you will NOT go top10! It’s a monster and in a bad way! :P

April 14, 200916 yr Well I found the first listen of MLWSWY to be very good, and every listen following turned out to be bad. I just don't enjoy the song at all; however this song is a sigh of relief. I love it. I'm gonna say about #3.
April 14, 200916 yr I honestly don't know how well this will catch on, so I'll say #7 I do like the new album a lot, but I don't find myself as in love with Kelly these days as I used to...My December killed a lot of my fan-love for her and now everything she does seems inferior in some way to Kelly at her peak Breakaway will always be one of my favourite albums of all time but her new material (whilst very good) seems to lack something or other that is making me fall truly in love with it I used to really care about her success or failure but I couldn't care less if this song went to #1 or #40 to be honest  although maybe that just reflects my dwindling lack of interest in the charts combined with my dwindling love for Kelly
April 14, 200916 yr I don't think I'll ever understand the sheer love people have for Breakaway. It's really nothing more than 'pretty good'. Seven or eight great songs, but the rest is generic pop-rocky filler and a lot of it hasn't aged so well. MD and AIEW are both much better! :heehee: Is Ethan a robot or something? Because 'monotone' is not really an adjective that any human being with functioning ears and a grip on their own mental health would ever pick out to describe a song like this.

Because 'monotone' is not really an adjective that any human being with functioning ears and a grip on their own mental health would ever pick out to describe a song like this. it's not just about the songs on the album but also the era it came out in, the moments in my life it reminds me of and the extent to which I loved the songs at the time (and still do)...I was absolutely obsessed with about 9 or 10 of the tracks on it  All I Ever Wanted is all 'very good' but I haven't fallen in love with anything on it in particular other than Already Gone and I don't like that anywhere near as much as the best tracks on Breakaway. As for My December, aside from Sober, Irvine, Chivas and Be Still, in my opinion it was a chore to listen to, and lacked melody all over the place (a common criticism of the album from reviews I've read) :( I'm getting a bit bored of the pop/rock sound these days so it's a combination of factors as to why I don't like the album as much as Breakaway
April 24, 200916 yr I've just seen the video! It's at http://www.kellyclarkson.com/ Quite good actually :D
April 25, 200916 yr ^ We all remember your last prediction which turned out to be wildly inaccurate so hopefully you've just guaranteed another success. ;):D How long did it take you to write that post too? Did you have Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com open? :kink: YEAH, LIKE WE ALL REMEMBER KC fanatics 'completely loosing touch with reality (logic + reason too)' predictions(and making sure everyone else got to hear them despite KCs total mainstream lack of fame + memorability even with THOSE Breakaway sales) about 'My Floptober' because it ended up killing imo permanently potential interest in and size of her career.Just Like WE all remember being told how much artist integrity she had by releasing 'My Floptober' instead of a followup to Breakaway - LIKE we all remember BEING TOLD that exact same thing EVEN **** more when the dreadful "co-written" MOR dirge interested 'nobody' (given the sales of her debut)when the thing flopped in such a SPECTACULAR manner it silenced the previously endless pompous bombast that spewed from the mouths of those fanatics - not that this came as a surprise given how far and how permanently their collective jaws had dropped http://www.erasureforum.com/images/smilies/icon_jaw.gif.So fast forward to the release of the follow up AND no surprises THATS Kelly's (alleged artistic) integrity along with her fanatics has slipped (well OK, ROCKETED http://s10.rimg.info/f1d1c495b27179055fcdc1d3a8ef9b7b.gif ) southward as her new album has a more "commercial" + "Breakaway" sound to it (ie basically its used the talent of the same writting/production teams that created the Breakaway album ) and all that pretentious defending of KCs artistic credibility with My Floptober has been quietly swept under the carpet http://s13.rimg.info/2ddbc8d5f8256151405ed85c07e504d7.gif because otherwise anything defensive/positive such fanatics now say about KC is going to be be pointless with such lack of integrity so blatantly displayed on online hard copy (the forums past) How many kids does this women have exactly? She always seems to be pregnant around the time of the album release promo shots! So she ballasted all artistic pretensions to try to resuscitate her dying career and is going for mainstream pop stardom and imo ( and only that)its the visual aspect as well as the aural that creates the entertainment.Seriously given the magic popstar glamour wand ( that i 'learnt about' from Kylie saying all the time how ( even depressingly occasionally) average, ordinary and unglamorous she really looks behind all the "sticky tape, smoke + mirrors" ). Kelly COULD be as glamorous or "visually exciting" to be less conventionally constrictive as the next pop star but again mere personal subjectivity i can still barely remember what she looks like, for the purpose of contrast could you say the same for Lady Gaga whether or not you like her music or EVEN HER? Prediction; If only the song had been called "Sucks" (Kelly's new song 'sucks'....etc ) *sign* tis a cruel world to be so deprived of such a trivial source of amusement :( - it may have got to #1 but the sales weren't very impressive compared to what we are used to in the upper sales ranks now PLUS it had non of the sales stability that lead singles often enjoy is this current download era.Regardless the album is enjoying infinitely more success/stability that the previous (not that that is much of a complement ;) )who knows what the impact 'I Do Not Hook Up' could have.Don't expect 'I Do Not Hook Up' to be a huge flop but neither do i expect it to be a huge hit - like her image it may end up just being forgotten despite not flopping - naturally not ideal for album sales. Obviously no-one should give a cr*p what i think but for a positive observation, in general, KC fanatics still have never been anywhere near the irritation factor of "Britney fanatics" just like KC is infinitely above the pointless, WHOLLY manufactured puppet of Brit, that now with a life changing chronic illness CAN'T EVEN perform ,dance or sing to even an unremarkable average level that she easilly surpassed before.

April 25, 200916 yr  Do you just slag off every artist ima?! I don't think I've ever seen you be positive about anyone. Anyway, I will predict top 10. Probably the lower regions, but like others have said, I don't think MLWSWY has overshadowed it with its success so far and the album hasn't done amazingly (although pretty well), so it could reach top 5. I really don't know!
