Posted April 14, 200917 yr Calvin Harris looks set to spend a second week at the top of the singles chart with I’m Not Alone (Columbia), despite a strong challenge from La Roux’s steadily-climbing In For The Kill (Polydor). I’m Not Alone shifted another 19,000 units yesterday, some 5,000 more than In For The Kill, which looks set to be its strongest challenger. Lady GaGa’s Poker Face (Polydor), AR Rahman feat Pussycat Doll’s Jai Ho (Polydor) and Ciara Feat Justin Timberlake’s Love Sex Magic (LaFace) should fill out the rest of a largely unchanged top five. Lower down the singles chart, the new single from The Enemy, No Time For Tears (Warner Bros), is set to be the only new entry in the top twenty. While the singles chart comprises more than 95% digital sales these days – and is therefore unlikely to be overly affected by yesterday’s bank holiday – the albums chart is still largely physical. As such, midweeks sales flashes for the albums chart are likely to be less reliable than normal as an indicator of how the chart will look on Sunday. Nevertheless, Super Furry Animals’ new album Dark Days / Light Years (Rough Trade) looks set to the highest new entry, while Lady GaGa looks set to continue at the top with The Fame (Polydor). April 14, 200917 yr I think it'll look like this today: 01 Calvin 02 Gaga 03 PCD 04 La Roux 05 Ciara with Eminem probably coming in around #6-#8. I think by the end of the week, Eminem will have risen to at least 3, and might have enough momentum to stop Gaga and her physicals/promotion (she's on JR on Friday). Gaga should take the #1 album with ease - I'd imagine she's quite a bit ahead of the KOL in sales now.
April 14, 200917 yr I'd like to see Calvin's sales vs. Gaga for last week b4 i predict but my feeling is he'll hold at no1 though Gaga's sale's will stay strong Poker Face really has legs it just doesn't seem to tire In albums i think Gaga will have it though i'm sure both her and KoL will sell well, she'll do ~10k more. Doves will experience a huge decline but should stay top5 (they're not White Lies after all) :P
April 14, 200917 yr I think: 1) Calvin Harris 2) Ciara/ Justin 3) Pussycat Dolls 4) Lady Gaga 5) Beyonce (hopefully top 3) Pink hopefully will go top 20 but most likely #24. BS will hopefully go top 20 aswell with IUSA but probably #30. GA will probably just inch inside of the top 40. OH and also i hope Alesha will somehow get into the top 40 with LGE but thats just wishful thinking :D

April 14, 200917 yr Prediction: 1 Calvin 2 La Roux 3 Ciara 4 GaGa 5 Rahman/PCD 6 Em Edited April 14, 200917 yr by B-rye
April 14, 200917 yr :o Fantastic for La Roux, she could make the top 3 this week :) I think she could do, probably number 3 by Sunday :)
April 14, 200917 yr Author Sex On Fire and Use Somebody go back up the chart, hmmm.... I think some sales are missing considering the BH yesterday
April 14, 200917 yr Author I didn't think La Roux will get that high, the track gets a bit annoying at times
April 14, 200917 yr I think she could do, probably number 3 by Sunday :) Yeah, I'm expecting Eminem to pass her, hopefullly Lady G won't repass her though. :cheer: Lily's in the top 10!
