Your bizarre statement regarding possibly pulling out after this contest begs a couple of questions; why not now instead of next time if you really intend to, and why in the first place? Can't you just partake without letting the intricacies of it all get to you? Detach yourself? Choose a song, reserve and confirm it, send in your votes, observe the results without getting a strop on? I'm not writing this post thinking "I fancy having a go at him", but I don't see the point in continuing in the contest if it really displeases you to the extent that you claim.

I almost walked out last month because I was so wound up about things in the contest...so I've learnt to take a step back from the arguments/'politics' and not care about it so much, and it's made me see the contest in a new light :heehee: It is, after all, only a game, and I'm still going to plod along with it unless there comes a point when I'm no longer discovering new music from it. Considering I discovered at least a good 10 great new songs last month, regardless of any 'cheap' entries, I'm still happy to participate and I hope Nonsuch will adopt a similar 'laidback' approach to the contest as opposed to leaving it altogether which would be a great shame.

Well JRK-Off reserved Amy Studt then gave her to Torchwood, then reserved David Guetta although admittedly i changed my mind and now has reserved Booty Luv and gave it to Mikal :smoke:

Well tough $h!t mate, maybe you are protesting because you are one of the people who is a guilty party in this ..... because clearly if you don't think it is wrong then why are you complaning so vociferously other than behaving like a Jerk.

 

But I think it is very bad practice for members to post in good faith their entry for the next competition in their countries thread only for other countries to go and take their entry just because they happen to be online at the time the Artist Reservation thread is opened.

 

It is not in my nature to sit back and observe, and ignore something, when it is blatantly obvious that it is wrong resulting in an adverse impact on others people's enjoyment.

To be fair - Jark didn't give Booty Luv to Mikal nor did he reserve it out of spite over anyone else... Everyone is within their rights to reserve who they want.

Both James and Mikal were fighting for the song. Because they weren't both on when the thread opened I thought it'd be amusing (and fairer) to reserve Booty Luv and then let them go when both were online. I'm sorry if that makes me a criminal, TiP, but I don't think I'll be going down for it, and what's more it has absolutely nothing to do with you.

To avoid this convo getting too heated, I think we should put a stop to it there thanks ^_^

I'm quite glad that Mark is reserving Little Boots so no one can send her. I love everything I've heard from her so far but we've now sent 4 of her albums tracks and she hasn't even released it yet. Girl needs a rest. as much as I'll be tempted to send 'Symmetry' when I hear it
