Posted April 19, 200916 yr People finally came to their senses with 'Strong Again' being suprisingly favoured on Buzzjack, so this is the follow up to it and probably their last single from the album - it's been milked with a total of 7 singles and 9 music videos. The only flops being 'I Swear' and 'Feva Las Vegas'. Has been confirmed as the next single and a release date is TBA, but music video is out atm. After listening to the song you'll find it the less aggressive version of 'Ouch', it has a sort of club vibe to it as well and plenty of annoying 'na na nays' and some eery indian vocals as background music. I still think to myself how on earth do I get to like their songs?! It's no 'Strong Again' but it does come quite close though and it hasn't even grown on me yet. N-Dubz are so tempting to like, their music is the type of music you hear and change the radio station but when you actually sit through it you look for things to like about the song and eventually become ADDICTED to it. Worth a listen.  SmZLP-xlk10 Edited April 30, 200916 yr by Kathh ·
April 19, 200916 yr To be fair "I Swear" and "Feva Las Vegas" were released before they were on their major label, so they were never going to do well. And this is awful :(
April 19, 200916 yr They're playing at my uni for our summer ball LOL. And I think this is okay for some reason, their deffo a guilty pleasure.
April 19, 200916 yr To be fair "I Swear" and "Feva Las Vegas" were released before they were on their major label, so they were never going to do well. And this is awful :( But You Better Not Waste My Time was released on the same label and made like #26 or something  It's due to their growing popularity. Strong Again may not be their highest peaking...but it's outstayed all their other singles and is almost certainly the highest selling. Wouldn't You will put an end to this ever increasing popularity growth...but i would expect it to go Top 75 at minimum.
April 19, 200916 yr Hate this track, saw the video to last night and it's pretty naff tbh. There's better songs...
April 19, 200916 yr Author But You Better Not Waste My Time was released on the same label and made like #26 or something  It's due to their growing popularity. Strong Again may not be their highest peaking...but it's outstayed all their other singles and is almost certainly the highest selling. Wouldn't You will put an end to this ever increasing popularity growth...but i would expect it to go Top 75 at minimum. YBNWMT flopped originally as their first single in like 2006 and then got re-released under the label and made the top 40, but it was before the album was released I think Ouch you could say is the album's first single and FLV, I Swear and YBNWMT were just compiled on it for the sake of them being their debut songs.. Strong Again has been an immense seller, it was just outside the top 40 for some 2 months before entering but Papa has also been extremely consistant it's been in the iTunes top 200 for ages. But it really is between those two though but Papa probably just edges it unfortunately AND is their highest charting single which is CRIMINAL. Urgh. As for this, it could either do a 'Papa' or just be cancelled for release like they did with 'Defeat You' - releasing a video and then cancelling the full release. Tbh, they're probably also contimplating the release because of the risk that it might flop. Dappy is the most annoying thing ever, especially on this song, he looks like a rat in the video =/ Does he even know why Strong Again was so successful - because he was bearable on it and let Tulisa make the song superb and then on some of the tracks he just complete f***s them up! It's like Kardinal Offishall messing up a suprisingly bearable Akon song, Beautiful, with his creepy shrills and monkey like grunting. Dappy and Kardinal Offishall are plain scum to R&B music. How they get signed to record labels I don't know, more like desperate resorts than talent if you ask me
April 19, 200916 yr I really dislike Dappy, but his parts on Tinchy Stryder's ''Number One'' are actually really good LOL.
April 19, 200916 yr Look at their wiki. Its pretty phenominal IMO, the way they built themselves up song after song, slowly and surely building up their fanbase to where they are now. People may want to hate them but its admirable. BNWMT didnt flop in 06, it was their first proper single, it was big where they needed it to be big and is the reason they are here today, then I swear one of their signature tracks (along with Ouch) came and they began to solidify their place, that was MASSIVE in the underground scene it was the no.1 in channel U for ages. You may laugh at that but they've done so well IMO who would've though tthat they would be selling 400,000 albums, eh? Im kinda pissed they didnt release dont get nine but I love this song, esp the chorus. Wouldnt you, wouldnt you, like to have me to yourself? :D I love N-Dubz, I have to admit.
April 20, 200916 yr I really dislike Dappy, but his parts on Tinchy Stryder's ''Number One'' are actually really good LOL. I agree ^_^
April 26, 200916 yr I think I Swear was pretty famous when it was released in 2006? (the same era )
April 30, 200916 yr Author I Swear would make a horrible single imo, and its too rude for radio so they'll edit/censor half the stuff out anyway. Feva Las Vegas is the only possible song I'd consider other than this, so underrated loved that song <3 Tulisa's outfit in this video is hideous and her hair! =/ It's bad enough that Dappy looks like some street rat. The Strong Again video was so much better ;o But now that the official physical release is May 18th, I see chance that this might just scrape top 30 again for them - looking on iTunes its following the exact same pattern as Strong Again did - staying low on iTunes for a few weeks but high enough to chart and then later climbing into the top 40 .. I really hope this does score them another hit, its much better than their previous successes - YBNWMT and PCYHM
