April 21, 200916 yr MARMADUKE DUKE!:wub::wub: I hope Trashmen, Marmaduke Duke and Jackson 5 all hold top 40, three amazing songs! Also Tinchy easily number 1 by Friday latest, tomorrow earliest, though I suspect Thursday. New/re/chart entries are Tinchy, Keri, Prodigy, Asher, Trashmen, Jacksons and MDD. Marmaduke Duke will keep top 40 fo' sho now, but I really hope The Trashmen and The Jackson 5 (or The Trashmen at least) can hold their places... I want to hear Surfin' Bird on the chart show 8D Edited April 21, 200916 yr by B-rye
April 21, 200916 yr Author Could someone post where Just Dance is? Also, is Demi Lovato in the Top 40 with her album? No Demi, Just Dance is up 1
April 21, 200916 yr Depeche Mode would make an excellent #1 in the albums this week, but I see that pretty much doing what the recent Pet Shop Boys album did. :(
April 21, 200916 yr I don't know, but in the bum chart she's second only to Ms Lopez. You're welcome. No, she's definitely first in that chart
April 21, 200916 yr Oh dear, not good for Lacuna Coil at all.. It would need to be top 10 today alone to stay in the top 40 by the end of the week but its top 30, it's no Karmacode but still deserves a top 40 peak though :( Garny at Ladyhawke, a new peak, who would have thought.. Hopefully her album does go gold somewhere other than Australia. Re-releases sure bagged in a lot for the album sales and not so much the singles sales. But she is an indie artist after all, so the album sales are what count. Hopefully she keeps on climbing for a decent album peak. :o GaGa still holding steady too, promo working wonders for her even with Tinchy jumping ahead of her and hopefuly Eminem or someone else doesn't push her out the top 5 by the end of the week. .
April 21, 200916 yr Garny at Ladyhawke, a new peak, who would have thought.. Hopefully her album does go gold somewhere other than Australia. She's just gone Gold in the UK recently. Astounding really given her Indie-nature and lack of any proper success for her singles.
April 21, 200916 yr Ladyhawke? Gold in the UK? :o MAZING, especially after the original flops of Back Of The Van, Paris Is Burning and the album last year you'd think she was pretty much over but I guess 'My Delirium' is what put her on the map, should've been the first single would've gone at least top 10 the UK like it has in Aus.
April 21, 200916 yr Can I have an exact position for The Trashmen - Surfin' Bird? I think it needs to be in the 32-35 region to have a chance of making it this week. =/
April 21, 200916 yr I think he will peak at around #6 tbh. It's a real shame! :( I thought it would go straight to #1 last week, top 3 at least! Can't believe it's looking like it won't even reach the same peak as Crack a Bottle, which is by FAR the worst single he's ever released!
April 21, 200916 yr Author Can I have an exact position for The Trashmen - Surfin' Bird? I think it needs to be in the 32-35 region to have a chance of making it this week. =/ The Trashman have collected 34 brooms in their collection.
April 21, 200916 yr The Trashman have collected 34 brooms in their collection. Ooh yay, hopeful for it to stay this week :D Seriously doubt the Jacksons will make it though. I think by the end of the week Trashmen will just scrape top 40 and Flo Rida's 'Sugar' will re-enter knocking out the Jacksons, and MDD will be at around #17. Edited April 21, 200916 yr by B-rye
April 21, 200916 yr It's a real shame! :( It's not a shame at all! That piece of crap does not even deserve #6!
April 21, 200916 yr Author Teletext La Roux is likely to be No 1 this week, with Tinchy Stryder the highest new entry at No 3. Keri Hilson, Prodigy, Ahser Roth, Trashmen and Marmaduke Duke are also new in the Top 40. Depehce Mode are 5,000 sales ahead of Lady GaGa for No 1 album.
April 21, 200916 yr It's not a shame at all! That piece of crap does not even deserve #6! IN YOUR OPINION ;) Mine is quite clearly different... Really hoping Placebo can get top 40 (at least) by sunday, they're rising well on iTunes :D
April 22, 200916 yr What i believe is minimizing Itunes' monopoly are the other DOwnload sites (7digital, play.com, HMV). There are now more download sites and over the next few years that will increase, giving a nice boost to the market. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/amen.gif.... to that..... ........................................ ...... http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/2thumbsup.gif ............................................................................. .....and DEATH to the Rotten APPLE ! http://s6.rimg.info/12a2208254ac2388cf4bdfa1d8153dab.gif Edited April 22, 200916 yr by ima
