April 28, 200917 yr So we know the physical midweeks are as follows: 01 Morrissey 02 Girls Aloud (according to their fansite board)
April 28, 200917 yr Im happy girls aloud are as high as number 11 but i really want it to go top 10 even if just number 10 itself, looks like sales will be very high in the singles chart and i hope either the enemy of lady gaga knock bob dylan of number 1 im totally shocked by how low green day are Edited April 28, 200917 yr by Feel_The_Fever
April 28, 200917 yr Maccabees actually charting? Wow, that is a huge shock. :o The song is Love You Better right?
April 28, 200917 yr I think GA could make Top 10 now, with the radio edit and the remix rising swiftly and the album version being consistent by maintaining it's position and we might see an entry from the Album Edit. Plus the usual GA CD and Vinyl sales. It could be another case of them tussling it with the #10 song and making it over the weekend, like TLK did with Heartless. But the sales look really good after two days.
April 28, 200917 yr New/re/chart entries of dem week: Ironik featuring Chipmunk and Elton John - Tiny Dancer (Hold Me Closer) Demi Lovato - La La Land The Maccabees - Love You Better Morrissey - Something Is Squeezing My Skull Alesha Dixon - Let's Get Excited Miley Cyrus - Hoedown Throwdown
April 28, 200917 yr I wonder if Tinchy and the Dubz can actually increase sales this week... last week they only had 6 days of sales, and now they've sold 21k in two days...
April 28, 200917 yr Author I wonder if Tinchy and the Dubz can actually increase sales this week... last week they only had 6 days of sales, and now they've sold 21k in two days... Last Wednesday Tinchy sales were 26.4k, he has certainly increased he probably be on 28k plus tomorrow, probably end up on 75k plus for the week.
April 28, 200917 yr I think Girls Aloud might be able to scrape in, but they're not gonna be able to take Ironik who is just ahead of them.
April 28, 200917 yr Brilliant for the Maccabees! :o Hope it stays there until Sunday. Brilliant song
April 28, 200917 yr I think Morrissey's new one has just about the same chance of staying as ITMAAP did, and that ended up almost top 20. This one will chart lower, maybe not even top 35, but I can't see it missing the top 40. I sincerely hope Maccabees can hold on, I'm sure their physical must be selling tons and it is getting some support on iTunes, not top 40 but it's at #66 and there's another version a bit lower... I do love the Maccabees song, I only heard it the other day but it was instantly memorable, which is always a good sign for me. :D Anyhoo, the new entries (so far) this week aren't as great as last week. 4/5 new entries were stunning last week, not counting the pretty poo Keri Hilson song. This week there are three great songs (Ironik, Maccabees, Alesha), one ok-ish song (Miley), one crap song (Demi) and one song I've never heard (Morrissey). On a completely different note, it would be fantastic for Deadmau5 and Kaskade to jump into the top 30 this week. Could I get exact positions for them and Marmaduke Duke?
