^^ yeh i know, they are just doing it to make more money. The real prize is the record contract, the runner up isn't guaranteed a record contract but most likely will get one as he is the better of the 2 imo.

 

I wish they did it with the X-Factor though 'cause it might decrease the sales of the winner so the xmas #1 could have a chance of being something different.
