I'm just gonna spoiler tag this entire post as i cba spoilering tiny sections. If you ain't seen 115 'The Power Of Madonna' Don't highlight the text bellow.

 

 

Fucking brilliant episode. Hilarious. So many brilliant lines, hell even Emma made me roar with laughter for the first time since the crying in the car to all by myself. The songs were great, although they butchered Like A Prayer which was a shame. The return of Sue's Journal is major wub-age. I love that Mercedes/Kurt are now cherrios, and weirdly i quite like the twist of Jesse St. James enrolling in McKinnley for Rachel. *Minor Squee* The return of Becky was sweet and the whole Virginity storyline thing was a nice b-story. I swear to actual GOD Dianna Argon gets hotter each week. The "would you please stop talking your grossing out my baby" line was BRILLIANT!!! Sweet that Will is helping Emma like that and woooo that he's filled for divorce. "Lindsey Lohan looks like something out of lord of the rings" is probably my non-Sue QOTW. [i may or may not be watching this for the second time as i type *shifty eyes*] This episode had some of the best hair quotes to-date and i love that the "If you think that's hard.." line made a return. Brittney is still making me lol. Express Yourself was fantastic, and they looked great performing. Nice to see Diana get a solo line. I think i'm turning into a Quinn Stan. Was quite shocked to see Santana sing [i am jumping back an forth as random thoughts pop into my head lol] LOVE that Brit's new beau is 7. rofl. The 'sexy as a cabbage patch kid' line was brill. Did someone buy Corey singing lessons for xmas????? I'm loving his numbers in the back 9. Will getting back at Sue with a hair dig was classic. The 'Oh Snap' made me properly LOL and i forgot about the lick your fingers and run them along your eyebrows thing until Finn did it. The Vogue music vid was posted before an is still epic. Can't believe Finn actually lost the V to Santana. Rachel's prettier tbh. The 4minutes performance was AMAZING. The Tina/Artie progression was dead cute and i was so not expecting there to be no Sing Off. I was a little disappointed tbh, Rachel nooo was brill.

 

 

In conclusion [bravo if you've managed to read that] Fantastic ep and i'm away to find a pic of Dianna Argon for my avatar....

 

I'm only 2 minutes into this episode and I already think it's one giant suck-up to Madonna which is quite frankly off-putting. They could've done this in a more intelligent way surely...

Just finished watching and I really didn't like the OMG-MADONNA-IS-SO-AMAZING tone that ran through the whole thing. It was really off-putting. Similarly, with Madonna songs blasting out of everywhere just so they can try and fit in as many as possible. It didn't work.

 

Now for the good stuff, which I shall spoiler.

 

 

I LOVED the 'Vogue' video and Mr Shuester's dig at Sue's hair. "OHSNAP" :lol: And 'Like A Virgin' was very good - it was great to hear a load of them sing together, including Emma and Santana. There were a few lines I loved as well but I've forgotten them. Jesse is still delicious. To conclude, from the 'Vogue' video onwards the episode was saved from all of the Madonna-loving by some great songs and some great lines. One of the best eps I think

I just LOVE Kurt and Mercedes. 4 Minutes was brilliant! A good episode. My favourite songs were 4 Minutes, Like A Virgin and Like A Prayer- although I'm disappointed they cut out the 2nd verse from that. This Jesse guy is delicious but you just know he's a wrongun. I can't help thinking that New Directions are going to suffer big time.

 

Brittany was hiliarious. "When I pulled a hamstring, I had to see a misogynist" and "Mr Schu is that your son?". Santana is a VIXEN and I love it. Finn is adorable as usual and he is quite clearly mad for Rachel.

 

I don't particually care that its a suck up to Madonna as she is quite clearly an iconic woman. The creater of the show is gay and said that Madonna is his hero

Wow a bit of a Madonna overload. Like the small balance from the boys such as Puck being against Madonna/the whole theme of the week. Plenty of funny great lines from Sue, Finn, Brittany, etc. Finn losing his virginity to Santana was a surprise.

 

 

Don't like:

Jesse being in New Directions. I hope he's a spy and doesn't stay there long. The guys that are already there are great and adding him is going to take away from Kurt, Puck, Artie and alike. Don't get me wrong I don't mind him but I prefer him in Vocal Adrenaline.

 

Brilliant episode! Far more hilarious jokes than last week tbh.

I don't see what you guys find in Jesse? Generic nice look, nothing more. TBH i am starting to think Jesse even might genuinely 'get into' Glee and stay there or something like this :o Like A Prayer was brilliant. When only 4 minutes were left i started panicking about this song to be shown at all. :lol:

AMAZING episode, Im not even a big fan of Madonna, but all the songs were great, especially '4 Minutes' and 'Like a Prayert' :wub:
