May 24, 200917 yr This is a bit like MGMT, but a billion times better. MGMT aren't very good with the exception of Electric Feel which is amazing. Time To Pretend is sort of average, Kids is god-awful.
May 24, 200917 yr McFly HAVE best bits? :o They could play the whole thing, it's all as terrible as all else.
May 24, 200917 yr GUACAMOLE HONEY RYDER ARE HIGH! :o Katy Perry :D oops I posted twice again. In my defence, the thread is fairly slow compared to usual. Edited May 24, 200917 yr by B-rye
May 24, 200917 yr This is a bit like MGMT, but a billion times better. MGMT aren't very good with the exception of Electric Feel which is amazing. Time To Pretend is sort of average, Kids is god-awful. I'd say they aren't very good with the exception of those 3 tracks. It's just a bad album with 3 singles on it, hence why just those 3 tracks have been whored to death and nothing else.
May 24, 200917 yr Author 36 (from 43) Katy Perry - Waking Up In Vegas [D] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/KATEPERRYPRE.JPG Chart Run: 52-43-36 [3 wks] Release date: 8-6-2009 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: VSCDT1993 Label: VIRGIN Her voice and veneer call up Amy Winehouse, but with a punk pop bent, bubblegum pinup style, and an affinity for 1980s rock themes; Katy Perry burst onto the top 40 on both sides of the Atlantic in the late 2000s. She gathered a cult following in late 2007 with the metrosexual-boyfriend-tweaking single "U R So Gay." Her star exploded when she went to the same well again with the dance pop-infused ode to fluctuating sexuality "I Kissed a Girl" (not a Jill Sobule cover), a teaser to the diverse debut, ONE OF THE BOYS. A surprising knack for hooks allowed Perry to sustain a career beyond one-note, and in 2009 she was a major player at both the Grammy and Brit Awards. - HMV Video here: Chart history (Year peak title): 2008 01 I Kissed A Girl 2008 04 Hot 'n' Cold 2009 27 Thinking Of You 2009 36 Waking Up In Vegas Discussion Thread Here
