Oh come on, who they trying to kid with this "investigation" into the "leak"... Vickers, or somebody at her label, "leaked" it themselves, this is great free marketing and publicity for the album let's face it, and now she's coming on with the whole barely concealed mock "Oh my god it's on the net, who could have done THAT???"..... I mean, as she said Jumping Into Rivers "was never gonna be a single...."

If artists want to use the Net to put out samples of upcoming albums, great, just dont try to pretend that it wasn't sanctioned and you're all "gutted" about it.....

The song's actually quite decent but would sound even better with someone else singing it :)

I'm not sure if it is, but this artwork is what "Jumping Into Rivers" comes with on the "leaked" link:

I agree. Despite what Diana and Alexandra are saying, personally I don't believe someone outside the record company leaked the music. They might not know this, but it would not suprise me if someone form their record companies both leaked their music on purpose. I find it too much of a coincidence. Here we are, like 7/8 months after X Factor 2008 finished and JLS are releasing their debut single and album. They've got a load of hype around them and people are starting to mention X Factor again. Then songs from both Diana and Alexandra "leak" onto the internet. Like you say it's good publicity and makes the public not forget them as JLS are in the public eye at the moment.

I think the Alexandra/Leona demo leak is Ryan Tedder produced and his account got hacked not too long ago so it is possible that, that one DID leak. Although the Diana "leak" is kinda weird, especially how she is acting about it, most other artists would be fuming (ask Jordin ha! :P)... but yeah. I believe Alexandra's was actually a leak whereas Diana's was most certainly done on purpose LOL.

ANYWAY... having said that, I am loving 'Jumping Into Rivers' in HQ

That would be a great news that finally she would release her debut album. I really want to hear her songs.

And the kind of people who watch the X Factor and follow the singers that come from it don't know that this is what normally happens (I don't think many of them browse hype machine  ) as they're not normal music fans really.

Although i didn't watch X-factor series 5 I was curious enough to watch her performances on youtube. She's stunning! WAY better than Alexandra.

second that  have you seen her performances of 'white flag' and 'call me'? they are the definition of stunning.

Oh noooo. We disagree it seems :heehee: Although I liked most of her performances, I thought 'White Flag' wasn't very good :( But 'Call Me' was definately her third best, behind 'Man In The Mirror' & 'With Or Without You' for me
I agree, most of her perfoemances were alright but she utterly butchered 'White Flag'. Her rendition of Britney's 'I'm Not A Girl' was too terrible, but then I do despise the original song.
I liked her doing Call Me and White Flag. Oh and With Or Without You was decently done aswell. I really liked her during the show but my god, she just annoys the hell out of me now tbh. The speaing voice makes you want to kill things. Painfully. I'll give her new material a fair shot though :)
Tbf, Not A Girl is a song that is written for Britney, and I dont think I've ever heard a cover done as good as the original, and I don't even like her.. My favourite of performance of Diana's was actually Everybidy Hurts.

:w00t: AAAAH! Sooo excited now, a whole pile of songs to fall in love (and hate, for some ) with! Doubt Diana will do any rubbish though the whole album will be amazing!

Diana's best performance was definetley Smile imo, she should have done a studio version to be included on her album!
WOW! :o Glad she's giving her fans their money's worth!

scratch that, it's not her official tracklist. she's announced on twitter that it's just been finalized, so we'll have to wait for that.

also, the name of the album is named 'Songs From the Tainted Cherry Tree.' :w00t: sounds like a name that won't be forgotten. can't wait for the artwork either!
