KC has creative input, Beyonce definitely has creative input and, well, Dizzee has too. But if you read my post, i wrote Bonkers was manufactured - not Dizzee. Bonkers is either manufactured, uninspired or both IMO :) And i won't even comment on the last line of your post

How is Bonkers manufactured? Please, explain.

It was not created Dirtee Stanke Records (which is Dizzee's OWN record label may I add) to be sung by Dizzee Rascal. Excellent piece of music, yes - manufactured, no.

If the top3 remains, that's 2 dance songs top3. Hasnt happened in ages

If it stays as it is, it will be a top 3 with two rap/grime songs and two dance songs, which has probably not happened in even more ages. :o

He's not grime. Some of his songs, earlier songs were. But he's ventured into different genres for a big while now, he's versatile. Plus even if he's still considered for the most part a grime artist, the song "Bonkers" is not grime.

Wikipedia says it is, so I'll believe that.

:teresa:

yeah cos wikipedia is so reliable. I could just go there and edit if I wanted. Plus it says Dizzee is grime artist, not that the song is grime. And it definitely isnt. Plus i've been listening to garage since before you were born, so I think i'd know better about its subgenres...

Bonkers is produced by Armand Van Helden, who is definitely NOT a grime artist, and the song remains true to his usual house style

This is grime

Point taken about the Armand Van Helden thing.

As for that first part, Wiki actually classifies Bonkers as 'electro-grime/dance'.

But whatever, you think whatever you want.

Electro-grime is just the genre they gave it for the fusion of the classification of both artists (AVH-electro) and Dizzee (grime). Electro-grime is just a new fancy way of saying electro-house that has a rap on it and is hardly an established or certified genre. Electro-house is still the main name used for it.
Dizzee Rascal isn't Grime anymore. He used to be, but he's much more experimental now. He doesn't really fit into any specific genre, he's much more a hybrid artist. There's elements of electro, dance, hip-hop, pop and grime in his songs. He doesn't really fit into a genre.
Exactly my point, although I guess since he started out as grime he'll always be considered that by the masses. The songs he does however can be classified individually, and Bonkers definitely doesnt fit in within the grime mould
