When i said "i'd probably get battered", i certainly had you in mind since you make it very clear you hate Bey :D

How exactly was I 'battering' you?

I said you were funny. That's not bad, is it?

Don't worry, i didn't mean it in a bad way. I just thought you'd have an opinion on my comments made about beyonce due to the caption thing under your name :P

And you're right, you weren't battering me. Btw i use the word batter very loosely :D

No, IDNHU isnt. The record label didnt tell Kelly to sing the song, she chose to sing the song because it sounds like something she would say. And appeals to the "Kelly Clarkson Message" as she puts it :P

Totally agree. But, in a sense, it could be originally manufactured since it was KPs initially. But KC is also a true artist who cares about the music she makes so i doubt she wanted the song just for the money. This probably makes no sense but i know what i'm on about

it's usually the record company who do it for the money.

and i agree  at Dizzee being more manufactured than KellyC (who came from a talent comp.) and Beyonce.

I do think that Bonkers in particular seems like an extremely commercial concept, and obviously one that worked very well considering its 110+k sales, however I wouldn't say it's more manufactured than Kelly C.

I will give no comment on Beyonce, because anything I say will be very biased towards the 'Beyonce is the frickin devil!' end of the spectrum.

Just  at the thought of Dizzee being manufactured.

I know, i should really stop stating the obvious

Kelly Clarkson is the definition of a cynically manufactured pop puppet; a laissez-faire ethos is clearly lost on her record company. :heehee:

‘I Do Not Hook Up’ is simply a derivative of a banal concept that has been done a thousand times before.

It’s not as if she compose her own material either. By contrast Armand Van Helden composed the music to Bonkers and Dizzee added his own lyrics, which puts him streets ahead in terms of credibility and relevance. ^_^
