In her latest music video for the single "Paparazzi," Lady Gaga plays, well, Lady Gaga: a star who shutterbugs love to follow.

 

So what's life like behind the cameras?

 

According to Kerry Rhodes, a safety for the New York Jets, who plays a policeman in the video, life pretty much imitates art. While he describes Gaga as "reserved," "focused" and "cool," he admits that the scene around her can be pretty crazy.

 

"The shoot was ridiculous!" he tells PEOPLE. "Everywhere you turned there was a dead body – not real! – a really big horse-looking dog, and a half-naked model, which was cool."

 

Rhodes explains that he knew the shoot would be "something out of the ordinary," and, of course, he's a fan of the 23-year-old star. "She’s very talented," he says. "She’s something different for music lovers to listen to."

 

That said, don't expect the Jets to warm up to "Pokerface" any time soon. When asked if Gaga plays in the locker room, Rhodes laughed, "Not a chance!"

 

Still, he'll have good stories to tell his fellow NFL players. One of his favorites: "When I was in main dressing room changing and Lady and I bumped into each other mid-change!" he exclaims, before laughing, "No, there was no funny stuff!"

It's down to #4 on iTunes due to the Michael Jackson effect. I think this could actually make #1 in 2 weeks, with La Roux this week, Michael Jackson next week, and his effect will be gone by then.

Not looking great at all, she should be ahead of David Guetta tomorrow but Arctic Monkeys and Chipmunk are undeservedly going to push her even more down. Wishful thinking: Chipmunk doesn't overtake her, MJ and Arctics start losing pace giving Paparazzi a position to leapfrog into 3rd which I doubt will happen but hopefuly it does!

Paparazzi already took over BEP in the Australia ITunes :cheer:

It's even makes ir cooler! Love the horse part (I guess horses are the new sexy :lol:)

She looks stunning with that purple hair and it makes me miss the long hair even more. :( They shouldn't have cut that bit out of the original vid.

It looks like the peak for the UK will be #4. I think that is still very good for a third single from a very well sold album.

Yeah definitely, the album did a 18-5 climb and that in one of the Michael Jackson hype weeks. Impressive stuff. I still think the top 3 isn't completely out of reach, she was #3 on iTunes the last time I checked with an ever increasing sales pace - strong enough to close in on MJ before Sunday. Hopefuly she does! :o

It's not completely over TBH. The next few weeks seem quiet for major releases and she still seems to be gaining more popularity (If that was EVER possible)

I'm still getting over the fact someone performed LIVE on GMTV! :heehee: I swear whenever I go to check artists performances on there they've been mimed most of the time :heehee:

 

Good performance :wub: 'Paparazzi' is one of my favourite singles of the year and I really hope it has at least 'Poker Face''s longevity seeing as number 1 is pretty much out the question now :( She needs more promo :( How about This Morning, GaGa?! Or Loose Women whilst you're over here :(

Looks like this could be number three next week. She should take over Cascada in the next few days and there are no big releases next week!
