I just watched the VMA's performance, and it's disgusting, absolutely horrible. Who let her do that? She is one sick, sick woman

 

I know, it was totally unnecessary. I think it was actually quite good until the ending.

 

 

And then there are:

 

 

Majority think it's her best performance thus far, and I think its the best performance I've seen EVER. You obviously missed the whole concept of the performance if you think she's "sick". :/ What exactly in the performance leads you to thinking she's "sick" because it's probably as flawless, creative, truthful and intelligent as you possibly can get, really, and the US public obviously agree seeing how its smashed on iTunes since the performance

 

 

How was it unnecessary? The whole point of the performance was to show the dark side of fame and how it can kill so the blood was very appropriate in making the statement she wanted to make.

Some of the early comments in this thread have me howling. Who knew that performance and the song, and this woman would become the icon we knew today. ALL OF THE SIGNS WERE THERE, it just seemed so surreal and unbelievable at the time that the hype was actually real and genuine.

One of the most classic hits, I love Paparazzi the most from The Fame.

The VMA performance of this is still one of the best performances she has ever done. The vocals, the stage, the concept- tens accross the board!

It continues to age superbly. A real gem of a song :wub:

This is still sublime and one of my ultimate faves from her :wub:
