September being nearly one year ago, I can safely say we haven't had a indie/rock hit for such a while.

It's been a while since we had a real rock/indie hit, they all seem to fade away quite quickly.

well there haasn't actually been an idie hit in AGES....the last time i remember an indie single in the top 5 is when "Wire To Wire" charted at number 5

I expect Pixie lott to be in the lead now then :). But last 2 new itunes number ones in agnes and kasbian have failed to get the number one slot on sunday. Think Pixie will break that run though

Below number 120 sales are not high at all, so older tracks can re-enter easily, so no wonder you can find now and then some interesting songs there.

 

More interesting is if they enter the top 100.

At the start of this thread, you'll see a link to the feed, change the number of the limit (limit=??????).
