Paolo Nutini really is dreadful, and that single he launched the album with is worse still. I'm disgruntled he's set to get the #1 album this week. :arrr:

As much as I love the PSBs I didn't even think they had any chance of top 40, the single's already been given free with the Daily Mail and is on the album. Top 10 isn't going to happen, no (they've not had a top 5 hit since 1993), but top 20 would still be amazing!
Hopefully there'll be no data missing today. Remember October when the Courteeners were top 5 in the first update and barely top 30 by the end of the week!

ONCE AGAIN TODAY: Missing yesterdays data from Apple, Napster and HMV Digital for BOTH singles & albums

Now that is a big fall for PSB's and still missing sales from Apple, I imagine PSB's are around top 20-ish

Here's hoping :D Wish MW could have sorted the data out today though...

Shame sales are missing again!

Placebo only top 80?! :snif: And that's WITHOUT iTunes, which would surely push them further down! :(

Thanks for the Patrick Wolf position. :D

I'm also assuming Monday's sales are yet to be included. So technically there is 2 days sales missing from Apple, that's a hell of a lot when Apple is around 70% towards the chart
^ I'm not sure Martin, they usually do specify. I have a feeling Mondays are in todays figures.

Just hope they remember to include it when we get to Sunday... :w00t: :P

I agree - there's no way singles are going to sell 19k without at least Monday's iTunes data!

I don't think Did You See Me Coming sold much yesterday, so a drop can be bigger with iTunes sales.

Placebo only top 80?!

Bit sad to see it, I was thinking of Top 50. :(

I was just thinking along those lines, it would be hilarious if they didn't

Ashley Tisdale

Placebo

T.I.

Escala - Palladio

Paul Van Dyk

*sigh* At least Kelly is top 40 :(

Since the beginning of 2006 the worst follow-ups to number one singles have been Meck (#39), Shakira (#34) and Sean Kingston (#32). If it doesn't reach #39 it'll be the worst peaking follow-up since Nizlopi.

Quite the flop.
