I PRAY it gets to number 1, but being realistic, I say about #7.

I'd love top 5. I'll be happy as long its top 10 though. 5th single from album never gonna do as well but its doing good so far and off the back off the tour I really hope it can do as well as the others :)
This is going to be bigger than Issues for sure.
Well before i thought it would get somewhere between 8-20 but now that it's already #40 on I-Tunes i think it has a great chance of going top 5.
Top 10, I reckon about #6.

Absolutely love this!

Very catchy track, with a very good (simply, but good!) video. The girls look stunning but more importantly the track is brilliant, nothing ground-breaking obviously, but just simple pop-by-numbers with an infectious hook can do wonders. I think it would have been a lot better than If This Is Love for their debut and definitely would have performed and peaked better. I don't know... The album hasn't exactly sold amazingly well so I don't see why it can't do well for them. I'll say #4. ^_^

Released the week BEFORE them... (22nd Jun)

Basement Jaxx – Raindrops

Enrique Iglesias – Can You Hear Me

Florence & The Machine - Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)

Freemasons feat Sophie Ellis Bextor - Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer

La Roux – Bulletproof

Lazee feat Neverstore - Hold On

Röyksopp feat Robyn - The Girl & The Robot (12”)

Released the same week as them... (29th Jun)

3OH!3 - Don’t Trust Me

Akon - We Don’t Care

Cascada – Evacuate The Dancefloor

Jordin Sparks - Battlefield

Keri Hilson feat Kanye West & Ne-Yo - Knock You Down

Kings Of Leon – Notion

Saturdays – Work

Released the week after... (6th July)

Frankmusik - Confusion Girl

Lady Gaga – Paparazzi

Lisa Mitchell – Neopolitan Dreams

VV Brown – Shark In The Water

VERY tough couple of week for them. 'Don't Trust Me' is going to be MASSIVE. As is 'Battlefield' and 'Evacuate the Dancefloor' is going to be big too. Kings and Akon's albums have been selling really well at the moment, so it's hard to say whether they'll get Top 10. Keri Hilson is MASSIVE at the moment and will probably be Top 5 (If not number 1) by the time that release comes around.

I think around number 7 will be it's peak, but it wll have a pretty decent run, and will probably sell more than 'Issues' and 'If This Is Love' put together!

I agree it will be big and have a decent run, but over 300K  Don't think so.

Given it's the 5th single from the album, surely T20 is the best that can be expected, regardless of the song's merits.

It's a 5th single from an album which has sold less than 300k with a reissue, so some people are going to have it twice. I would think 300k is a reasonable and possible target.

Its a good song, i went for top ten. Love the video aswell.

Anything could happen though i guess. Cant see it doing top 5.

Love it but as its the fifth single and been around WAY too long, there is no way it will be number one - I reckon number 9..

But does it really matter? I suppose, the main thing that affect single sales is sold albums and 'Chasing Lights' is not Platinum yet, is it? There aren't so many people who own their album, it is not a million seller to heavily damage peak position. So, the single chances are pretty high, IMO.

I'm safely going with top-10, but don't deny chances of going top-5 and having 'Hot N Cold' style chartrun.

It would be funny if it got to #1 just so every single one of their releases has outpeaked the previous (#8, #5, #4, #2 ,#1). I think it deserves to be #1 cos it is far better than anything they have released previously and, for once, can not be compared to any other british girlband song. It certainly sounds like a Rihanna-esque track tbh.
