Posted June 7, 200916 yr After watching last night's show, I was disgusted to watch how the final 6 'house-guests' up for eviction are 5/6, non-white: Angel - Russian Beinazir - Pakistani Marcus - British Siavash - Iranian Sophia - Caribbean/African? No definitve details Sree - Indian Have the 'house-mates' subconsciously selected white British people? Rodrigo only made it through because he ran to the diray room first on launch night? Bar the exception of Noirin, who is mixed-race, has this new series spurred another discrimination/race row, or am I being too sceptical?
June 7, 200916 yr You're being too sceptical. They all want to be housemates, therefore they would stab each other in the back to become one. Oh, and Sophia is a black Brit from London Edited June 7, 200916 yr by thEo.
June 7, 200916 yr You're being WAY too skeptical. It's purely that they were the ones left over, it's just coincidence that they are of different nationalities.
June 7, 200916 yr I'd like to know how the housemates were selected for each task- Did the HM's choose? Or was it Big Brother...?
June 7, 200916 yr :manson: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I normally wouldn't make a post with so little TO IT. But i feel that it's very necessary to do so here. Edited June 7, 200916 yr by Harve
June 7, 200916 yr I did notice that it was mostly the minorities left as non-housemates, but have you actually watched any of it? The rest of the housemates were 'chosen' just a randomly as Rodrigo was. The only exceptions possibly being Charlie and Karly who Saffia picked to do the other tasks, after all of them volunteered, though maybe a more clear decision was made and it was edited to look that way. Rodrigo & Noirin - Random. Lisa & Kris - Lisa answered the phone randomly and picked Kris to go with her. Saffia & Charlie & Karly - Saffia randomly went to the Diary Room and had to pick three to do the SAS tasks. Freddie & Sophie - Were the first male and female to get to the Diary Room to change their names Cairon - Won a task by dipping a biscuit in tea for the longest. So yeah, it's all a big coincidence and you're finding holes for the sake of finding holes.
June 7, 200916 yr Oh yeah, it's obviosuly a big discrimination act and not just a complete conincidence. Most of them are in some sort of minortity this year anyway
