June 10, 200916 yr I think Juranabaijan will crack the Top 10 for the first time :kink: Nahh. i'm thinking maybe 27th or 15th in semi
June 10, 200916 yr i think Nonsuch is the Susan Boyle from BGT but Cadbury are the diversity.....
June 10, 200916 yr so who will be the Jade? i.e. the usually poorly performing country who have upped their game significantly and are now destined for the top five? I would say Deandria :P The Sound of Kuduro will be knocking on the door of the top 5, obviously. I'd do odds, but I've not started listening yet, so would be a bit pointless!
June 10, 200916 yr Riiiight, if we stop the comparisons, is anyone actually willing to offer odds? :kink:
June 10, 200916 yr Riiiight, if we stop the comparisons, is anyone actually willing to offer odds? :kink: I reckon yours are pretty good. I'd perhaps go a little further and do: 1/4 Nonsuch: Tinchy Stryder; Amelle Berrabah - Never Leave You 5/1 Angelicland: MPHO - Box N Locks 8/1 Any Other :kink: I'm kinda feeling a Susan Boyle backlash against Tinchy already though, I must say.
June 10, 200916 yr Riiiight, if we stop the comparisons, is anyone actually willing to offer odds? :kink: I still haven't listened to the songs, Little Boots album life must come first sometimes as much as it pains me to say it :snif:
June 10, 200916 yr Ooof, has Rich fallen hopelessly in love with Boots! :o About time :smoke: And Aaron, as fab as MPHO is, I don't think she'll get enough widespread support to do amazingly well...a Santogold-style result is definitely on the cards though!

I was considering giving my chart the subtitle 'apologies to Tron, Meddle really is an epic song' when it finally enters at the weekend :kink: I'm also loving Remedy, Ghosts and the hidden track at the end which is beautiful, as well as New In Town and of course the other songs that I am oh so familiar with thanks to this contest I'm not getting the accusations of the album being weak to be honest, I've been hearing that BEP's album is much better and Little Boots' is a letdown, but having bought them both on Monday, so far it's completely the other way around for me
June 10, 200916 yr I haven't listened to the BEP's album yet, but I think any accusations of Boots' album being a let-down come EXCLUSIVELY from the blogs who are disappointed at her going so commercial - they would've preferred an album of Stuck On Repeat-esque confections I think :heehee: Either way, I adore both sides of Boots, so obviously the album's a hit with me! :o  It's good to see some retrograde appreciation anyway :kink: 'Tis a shame that everyone's deciding they love it now -_- [/dreamon]

Similarly, I've never been over fond of the uber-subtle Can't Get You Out Of My Head, despite Kylie being one of my favourite singers :o
June 10, 200916 yr could be worse, it could have flopped out of TBO then topped everyone's personal charts a month later [/stillnotbitteratall]

Similarly, I've never been over fond of the uber-subtle Can't Get You Out Of My Head, despite Kylie being one of my favourite singers :o Hmmm, in retrospect I probably should've sent Ashlee to VIII and Boots to IX :( It could've been worse though...it could've flopped like 'Freeze' -_- And CGYOOMH wasn't all that subtle tbh! :o You don't get less subtle than an obvious hook like 'na na na, na na na na na'! :P
June 10, 200916 yr think how bitter a pill you will have to swallow when in six months it finishes top ten in the end of year charts of people who gave it 'nul points' in BJSC :heehee:

June 10, 200916 yr Why a third of them? Surely half minus four? I might click on some just out of curiousity. Never knows :o This contest will be unusual for me because I've never started listening to songs that late :( To other news: Marit Bergman - Bang Bang has become the first BJSC entry topping my chart this week! :w00t:
June 10, 200916 yr I was considering giving my chart the subtitle 'apologies to Tron, Meddle really is an epic song' when it finally enters at the weekend :kink: I'm charting Jungle Drum this week, along with Industry (why did no-one enter that!) and Freemasons climb, so I was going to subtitle mine "Heartbreak make me gooddelta" :kink:
June 10, 200916 yr I have been re-listening to Jungle Drum a lot recently, I am almost certain that it's destined for a Feist like re-activation later in the year where it will shoot into the UK top ten :o or of course it could be like Colbie Caillat's Bubbly, huge all over Europe and a #72 smash here :/
