I know David Guetta/Kelly Rowland, possibly Basement Jaxx, Freemasons Feat. Sophie Ellis-Bextor... what else?

 

with Agnes and Dizzee/Armand it would make 5. However if Freemasons and Basement Jaxx go top10, I'm pretty sure Bonkers will be knocked off. Not to mention I doubt either will go top10 anyway.

I don't think Doctor Doctor was ever released. The album has been pushed back from April to June to July and now the release date is 24 August 2009. Good that I'm a patient person ... I've been waiting many months to get Embers (my top tune of 2009) on CD!

 

Very happy that the Noisettes are continuing to climb. Great old-fashioned soul music.

Pretty big in the clubs still, I heard it three times when I was out last night but didn't hear WD once.

The intro is pretty cringy tbh. :lol:

But when it gets to the second chorus, it starts to get a lot better! That part was the best, reminds me of N-Dubz - Wouldn't You (the chorus before the end of the song).

It starts with the balloon-like inflating pitch going high (whatever that was). Then the banging drumming after the two brilliant snare drum beats which is what I'm talking about. :D

'Hold On' is really odd though. It's like you SHOULDN'T like it, but there's just something about it, that you learn to appreciate with each listen.

I agree about 'Hold On', I didn't know at first how sad that song is until I looked at the lyrics. :(

I didn't think the track is meant to be a little ballad as well. :o

I really liked 'Ouch' and 'Papa' but the latter got boring for me quickly - I still listen to the former occasionally. And as for 'Wouldn't You', I'm just now starting to listen to it since it got very little airplay.

Absolutely not! :o Their song lyrics are so inspirational, "Uncle B" is such an underrated album and listening to it gets me through a lot of difficult times. Their ONLY $h!tty song is "Love For My Slums".

They're so original and talented. I ADORE them. Their song lyrics are completely different from song to song, or the one song follows on from the other which makes them even more credible.

If people would stop judging N-Dubz by their covers, or bashing their songs based on one listen then calling them $h!t would be justified.. But atm it really isn't.. Their success and huge fanbase manifest this.

Wouldn't You is the fan favourite off the Uncle B album! How can you not like it? :o On first listen and the first half of the song I'd admit it isnt the best song. But it grows on you like wildfire, especially the second half of the song! It builds up from something mid-tempo to something beyond up-tempo! And its as catchy as hell. As for YBNWMT and FLV I adore both but ANYWAYS :rolleyes: N-Dubz ftw.
