June 28, 200916 yr Someone posted all the MJ chart positions on Popjustice which has kinda ruined it for me but never mind!
June 28, 200916 yr Without the five MJ tracks above it, this would have reached 32. :P It's going to be fun to see everything as it would've charted had MJ not died.
June 28, 200916 yr I'm really not seeing the fuss about The Gossip. I think their first album sounded the same all the way through, that's why I haven't bothered much with this era
June 28, 200916 yr Man in the Mirror only made #21 in the UK on release. Should definitely get a new peak tonight.
June 28, 200916 yr I wonder whether Roy Castle is passing MJJ a Record Breaker award right now ....... As the Record for the most singles simultaneously in Top 75 was 13 by The Jam (January 1983) - after the band split up, and all their singles were reissued simultaneously. I just realised, it's actually only 16 because one of those is The Jackson 5 and I forgot to omit it, but still a new record to be broken again next week. OH MY GOD WHY JASON!
June 28, 200916 yr 36 (from 32) Beyonce - Halo [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697473502.JPG Chart Run: 40-20-9-4-5-7-6-8-10-10-15-17-20-23-26-32-36 [17 wks] Release date: 13-4-2009 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 88697519782 Label: RCA Beyonce Knowles rose to fame as a member of the R&B ensemble Destiny's Child. With Beyonce's father as a manager, the group garnered massive success with their 2001 album, SURVIVOR. Soon Beyonce, sporting a sexy yet girl-next-door image, broke out on her own, with major roles in the Austin Powers movie GOLDMEMBER, a hip-hop version of the opera CARMEN, and her star turn as a Diana Ross-esque diva in the film DREAMGIRLS. With the release of her more eclectic solo albums and acting roles, Beyonce became a full-fledged international superstar and role model. It has been rumoured that after her 2008 marriage to rap mogul Jay Z, Beyonce would be performing and recording less and focussing on A&R work. - HMV Video here: track listing 1. Halo 2. June 28, 200916 yr Mraz would've been #30 without MJ's tracks. I'm pleased that they've decided to play this over 'Halo'.
June 28, 200916 yr I'm not really a fan of The Gossip, I'm sure Glasto must affect sales some right? I do like the album cover though. I can't wait to see what other acts chart activity is. Fingers crossed for La Roux of course.

June 28, 200916 yr Last week for "I'm Yours" - I think he's the Gabriella Cilmi of 2009, I very much doubt he'll get another hit as big as "I'm Yours"
June 28, 200916 yr Even WITH the MJ songs, this manages to make top 40 again? :manson: I'd much rather another MJ song! :(
June 28, 200916 yr 36 (32) Beyoncé – Halo 37 (40) The Gossip – Heavy Cross 38 (Re) Michael Jackson – Earth Song 39 (31) Eminem – We Made You 40 (28) Prodigy – Warrior’s Dance
