Without the five MJ tracks above it, this would have reached 32. :P It's going to be fun to see everything as it would've charted had MJ not died.
I'm really not seeing the fuss about The Gossip. I think their first album sounded the same all the way through, that's why I haven't bothered much with this era
I wonder whether Roy Castle is passing MJJ a Record Breaker award right now ....... As the Record for the most singles simultaneously in Top 75 was 13 by The Jam (January 1983) - after the band split up, and all their singles were reissued simultaneously.

I just realised, it's actually only 16 because one of those is The Jackson 5 and I forgot to omit it, but still a new record to be broken again next week.

OH MY GOD WHY JASON!

36  (from 32) Beyonce - Halo [P]

Beyonce Knowles rose to fame as a member of the R&B ensemble Destiny's Child. With Beyonce's father as a manager, the group garnered massive success with their 2001 album, SURVIVOR. Soon Beyonce, sporting a sexy yet girl-next-door image, broke out on her own, with major roles in the Austin Powers movie GOLDMEMBER, a hip-hop version of the opera CARMEN, and her star turn as a Diana Ross-esque diva in the film DREAMGIRLS. With the release of her more eclectic solo albums and acting roles, Beyonce became a full-fledged international superstar and role model. It has been rumoured that after her 2008 marriage to rap mogul Jay Z, Beyonce would be performing and recording less and focussing on A&R work. - HMV

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mraz would've been #30 without MJ's tracks. I'm pleased that they've decided to play this over 'Halo'.
I'm not really a fan of The Gossip, I'm sure Glasto must affect sales some right? I do like the album cover though. I can't wait to see what other acts chart activity is. Fingers crossed for La Roux of course.

35  (from 39) Jason Mraz - I'm Yours [P]

4. I'm Yours [Video]

Chart history (Year peak title):

2008 11 I'm Yours

Afternoon Peeps, not been here on Sunday for a while, but thought I would make the effort for today :D
Last week for "I'm Yours" - I think he's the Gabriella Cilmi of 2009, I very much doubt he'll get another hit as big as "I'm Yours"

Even WITH the MJ songs, this manages to make top 40 again? :manson:

I'd much rather another MJ song! :(

36 (32) Beyoncé – Halo

37 (40) The Gossip – Heavy Cross

38 (Re) Michael Jackson – Earth Song

39 (31) Eminem – We Made You

40 (28) Prodigy – Warrior’s Dance

LOL in my game who will be the highest climber, Jason Mraz is a contender with this 4 places climb
