This is being officially released in the UK on October 16th, possible X Factor appearance? She was on BGT so it's not out of the question, and I think it being a ballad would really benefit from an X Factor slot - unfortunately her only chance to get top 40 in the UK tbh :)

^ She's in Canada pretty much all of October.

I'm not getting Wish You Were Here as much as a lot of the other tracks (mainly Push/Everybody Hurts). Sure, it's good, but it feels a bit by the numbers, nothing amazing.

 

And I doubt she'd get an X-Factor slot. Smile did absolutely nothing from a high profile performance, and she's not the sort of star the X-Factor is promoting (considering THE NEXT BIG THING). I'm quite sad, but she's past it.

I'm a mega huge uber Avril fan an even i'm not fussed with the Goodbye Lullaby era. Wish You Were Here and Push are amazing worthy of her peak and it's a shame these songs will go unnoticed. -_-

I wondered what the get well avril trend was on twitter the other day!

Epic are focusing on the U.S. market for this single. Maybe they will release a UK only single in 2012. Epic seem to be reviving Avril's career with the amount of promo she has coming up. It's pretty much 3 weeks straight starting tonight at the AMAs!

I Love You or Everybody Hurts would be amazing singles for the UK!
