Has anyone noticed that (apart from the occasional really good act - like Lucie auditioning in Cardiff) the X-Factor tends to use the 'regions' for its 'laugh factor'. I mean tonight ... nearly all the acts that went through the 'good' (and I use the word loosely) ones were from the London audition. They seemed to use the Glasgow and Birmingham auditionees just to ridicule.

I actually thought they were all crap tonight though. Not one decent act! Wish I'd have watched the Special Weakest Link on the other side now!

She was definitely like Alexandra, actually one of the quick ones they showed sang "Saving All My Love For You" and I thought she sounded like the double of Alex, surprised they didn't show more of her.

 

Didn't get much of the other two from her but, oddly, during her audition I was thinking she should have done a Bev song and wondered why I've never seen anyone cover her on these sorts of shows.

 

I actually kinda liked that "Superstition" guy everyone on here seems to hate. :blush:

I just found out a bit more about Shanna she is really using the sob factor, there is a piece on her in the News Of The World paper, I just hope she does not make the final 12, as I said she has a great voice but, I'm just sick of all the sob stories, and its practically Alexandra all over again.

 

I haven't seen any stand out groups so far this year, apart from a 3 piece girl group from last week's auditions, but the groups this year are really weak, they don't seem to be auditioning them on TV.

 

I just hope Lucie Jones from Wales from last week, makes the final 12, she is the best stand out female I've seen so far, along with Stacey, and the girl that sang Jennifer Hudson track last week, those would be my final 3 girls if I was a judge.

Apparently there is a 4 piece girl group that's meant to be really good next week. I can tell they want a male winner this year as the "good" men are right at the end of the show.
