Lady GaGa is a dance-pop singer from New York City. Born Stefani Germanotta in Yonkers in 1986, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU while performing at open-mic nights around the city. An early collaboration with rapper/producer Akon led to her signing with Interscope Records, which released her debut album THE FAME in October 2008. She scored a number one hit and a Grammy nomination with her ode to lost, drunken nights, "Just Dance." The song went on to top the charts in several other countries, helping GaGa to develop an international following. The vocalist made headlines at the 2009 Brit Awards when she, along with Brandon Flowers of the Killers, performed with the Pet Shop Boys on a medley of the synth-pop duo's hits, including the classic "West End Girls." - HMV

SKIPPED:

31 Lady GaGa (this must be on its way out then =/)

I'm not sure. It has re-climbed to the itunes top 20 and if the MJ tracks will fall, she will gain, plus the Now 73 release will help the song too to hold the song in the top 40 for a while.

That's just the weekend effect

I think it's the MJ clear out too, I saw it climb back up as high as #16 earlier though. That is significant considering where it was...

I hope Reggie does acknowledge the 1100th number 1 if it happens today.

Discussion Thread Here

Lady GaGa will spend about a month or two with PF in the Top40 for sure, her sales are very consistent. Plus, PF is the song which climbs more than others in the weekends.
