July 5, 200917 yr Poor La Roux - how on earth did MJ close an 11k gap in just two days?? I wonder it too...
July 5, 200917 yr Poor La Roux - how on earth did MJ close an 11k gap in just two days?? Probably the only reason it didn't do it earlier was stocking problems? Also, the mids showed the two #2s this week as #1 all week - has that ever happened before?
July 5, 200917 yr Ugh, Cascada at No. 1? Somebody call the sh*t-music police. Not that I'm any fan of 'Man In The Mirror' either, I think it's one of Jacko's poorest hit songs. Would have much preferred something like Thriller, Billie Jean or Beat It up there - or even my personal fav Jacko song, 'Give Into Me'.

July 5, 200917 yr Author Well I never expected La Roux to land at #2, since she was far ahead on Fridays Mids, those 2 days sales really gave Jacko the boost. As for Cascada at #1, it feels so wrong, the track is dreadful its the worst #1 of the year along with the CR single, what made people buy or download the track, must have had rocks in their heads.
July 5, 200917 yr I wish this agressive critisism of cascada would stop already. Fair enough you don't like them and all and find them crap but i hate seeing this all the freeking time. The only reason why people are giving the biggest stick of them so far being this week is because they were up against the king of pop and song wise and acts wise yeah ok they are not a touch on MJ as of greatness but at least they've done some good records unlike some artists plus Natalie can purely sing amazingly without the dance stuff. July 5, 200917 yr You got that right. Beat It, Rob. 29 N 1 Killswitch Engage Killswitch Engage - well done for hitting the Top 40. :cheer: 44 N 1 Moby Wait For Me - whoops, not good. :heehee: awful debut for Lenka's album, although it's boring anyway  The first 5 tracks (except The Show and Skipalong) were irritating to listen to. 'Dangerous and Sweet' though, best track on the album IMO. Edited July 5, 200917 yr by FM11
July 5, 200917 yr To be fair the late Michael Jackson might be UK#1 in two weeks time (although I've yet to see the release date oF 13/07/2009 confirmed on a reputable music site)...... with a brand new release. A duet that was originally going to be released to tie in with his O2 run. TCFOSqAFwMI Michael Jackson & Akon - Hold My Hand Opening lyric: "This life don't last forever.." And it sounds very summer 2009. :(

Don't be so precious about it, I'd still be saying the same regardless of who it was up against. It's just an awful song, and I feel the criticism is deserved.

July 5, 200917 yr Agree with this. Cascada is something of an 8th wonder. These types of novelty come and go very quickly yet SOMEHOW this undisputed rubbish just seems to get more popular, not less. All their songs sound EXACTLY the same! Really? It's your opinion about you like it or not, but I didn't think someone would say that 'Evacuate The Dancefloor' is the same as e.g. 'Everytime We Touch'. I think Cascada deserve #1. If it really was just 'Just Dance' rip-off, the public wouldn't buy it so many times, the song is good on her own with or without GaGa sound. And Michael... I think it's not the last chance of getting #1 with all unreleased tracks wich will be (and they will be) released later. And he owns album chart really.
