Is that the London IMAX? I'm seeing it there tomorrow - premium seats too :yahoo:

No unfortunately, my local Odeon (Uxbridge one) has just updated their biggest screen to IMAX, which they're rolling out to quite a few cinemas now (Norwhich and Breahead were updated at the same time as mine, and Kingston is getting one too) but it won't be anywhere near the size of the London and Manchester screens. Still, IMAX is IMAX so I can't wait to see my first film in the format. Out of interest, how much did you pay for your premium seat ticket? To see how it compares to how much my Odeon charges.

I paid £16.

I paid £16.

I know it's a premier, IMAX, premium seat etc. etc., but £16?! That's ludicrous, but i guess i'm just frugal. I miss the £2 a ticket on mondays in the next town D:

ZOMFG!!! Absolutely loved it! The whole thing was done well, and there were many sad points. The comedy was well-done though, but I'm absolutely gutted at the cliffhanger! Although I feel

Voldemort retrieving the wand could've been saved as the opening scene of pt.2, leaving it on an emotional point with Dobby's death.

:(

£16 is absolutley ludicrous, I think you were a bit ripped off there. ALSO THANKS FOR SPOILING THE END THEO
YES WELL DONE THEO. I'M SEEING THIS IN ABOUT 3 HOURS TIME.
I'M SOREH GUYIZ. I'll spoiler my post now, although surely you wouldn't come into this thread (once it's out in the UK) before you've seen it? Anyway, James loves his spoilers. :D

I don't mind as I already knew the cut-off point, but I was checking the thread to see what my fellow members thought, before I actually go tomorrow night. And to see if anyone's posted any news regarding box office takings or anything....

Regarding ticket prices, I appreciate it is a lot, and no way would I do that all the time, but sometimes you just want to splash out. Especially for event movies like this. I of course will determine whether the extra money it cost to seat premiere in IMAX is worth it after tomorrow night. Although, I'm not going to lie, either way I won't regret it.
