you don't need to reserve a sampled artist, I'm almost 100% sure

I don't think there is a strict rule on sampling.

 

Theres a ban on Covers of previous entries, an thats it as far as i am aware. Given that Can't Speak French was entered in it's french form back in the day i think your safe.

Sampling's fine, just as long as it doesn't take the p***...for example, DJ Earworm's track which sampled every big hit of 2008 :lol: If an artist is adding something of their own to it, then it's fine. If the track is composed of a former entry (i.e. if it's a mash-up) then it isn't allowed...
