Mary Pearce sounds like a cat being sucked up a vacuum cleaner. But, the rest is good...

The Los Angeles-based hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas has made a name for itself by taking an eclectic and organic approach to rap, R&B, and funk. Led by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Will.I.Am., the band also includes two other MCs, Apl.de.Ap. and Taboo, along with vocalist Fergie, and a live backing band. Building a steady buzz with its first two releases, Black Eyed Peas garnered mainstream attention with the 2003 album, ELEPHUNK, which launched Fergie's solo career and helped make Will.I.Am one of the most in-demand producers in hip-hop, pop, and R&B for several years to come. - HMV

Tinchy sounded really upset then.

& sorry if this is a dumb question but what is BJSCXVIII?

Boring top 2 :(

Another week, another return to #1 for BEP.

See you guys next week!

BEP have made history?

Nope, both Cliff Richard and The Shadows already did it before. Maybe history for consecutive singles.

Anyhow, looky that, I kept to my target. Only 36 posts! :w00t:

I think I prefer this to I Gotta Feeling now, which I adored.

same here, Never Leave You became the anthem of my holiday last week  shame they've slipped to No.2 :snif:

still, great, and very weird, for BEP's to have consecutive returners to No.1

Scottish kitsch-dance producer, Calvin Harris, burst on to the UK music scene with his tongue-in-cheek single, "Acceptable In The 80s", which reached number 10 in the UK singles chart. A blend of retro synth sounds, and knowing lyrics it set the template for Harris' debut full length, I CREATED DISCO, released in June 2007. The album was preceded by Harris' second single, "The Girls", which upping the ante with it's ironic claims of sexual attractiveness--set to a synth sample from the Human League--the single shot top number 3 in the single charts. - HMV

Discussion Thread Here

Good dance record from Calvin Harris somewhat better than his recent #1

Great number 1 from BEP! :cheer:

see you next week here in the chart thread ;)

Personally I thought that this would be a remake of the old Charlie Rich tune from the 70s. Boy I'm Wrong, I doubt that this tune will stay on the charts that long.

hardly behind closed doors though, more behind locked off camera and all over the TV, magazines, newspapers and the TV show, big promo tour.

lets hope this is the end of it all.

Sum 41 from 2001 being the first track of Switch tonight, I love how they start with these old songs.
