September 8, 200915 yr Doesnt anybody think Oopsy Daisy, Down or White Lies have a chance of getting number 1 the week The Saturdays' single is released? I can see all 3 peaking higher if they get enough airplay.
September 8, 200915 yr I would rather predict Jay Sean 'Down' to go to number 1 that week in all honesty :P It's doing well in America and I think it could be a shock number 1 (In both countries) 'Oopsy Daisy' wil deffo go Top 5. 'White Lies' however, he'll be lucky to get Top 30 if I'm honest :(

September 8, 200915 yr I think Robbie will perform on the X Factor the weekend before his album comes out to give that and the single a boost. Lady Gaga has a chance to get #1 in November and Christina does if she releases and performs on the X Factor. In all honesty, Whitney will be maximum top 5 with a big selling album (hopefully!!).
September 8, 200915 yr Cheryl Cole will easily get to number one with "Fight for this Love" in my opinion.
September 9, 200915 yr Doesnt anybody think Oopsy Daisy, Down or White Lies have a chance of getting number 1 the week The Saturdays' single is released? I can see all 3 peaking higher if they get enough airplay. Just came here to post that 'Oopsy Daisy' is going to be massive! It's on all the music channels constantly and I've heard so many chavs/girls blasting it out of their phones recently :o Just saying with the type of tracks that have made #1 this year it could do it.

'White Lies' however, he'll be lucky to get Top 30 if I'm honest :( I'm thinking the same. I doubt 'White Lies' will be very big. I'm really not keen on it at all and I loved 'Supernova' (at the beginning at least)! As for 'Down', I really hope it does go to #1 - brilliant song!
September 9, 200915 yr I really hope Oopsy Daisy will be #1. It's out on a fairly quiet week right? It's against The Saturdays, Jay Sean, Jordin Sparks, Mr Hudson & Whitney's comeback single. Quite the under-dog week actually.
September 9, 200915 yr It's against The Saturdays, Jay Sean, Jordin Sparks, Mr Hudson & Whitney's comeback single. Quite the under-dog week actually. Jordin, Mr Hudson and Whitney I don't think have a chance. The Saturdays are the major competitor for Chipmunk, and Jay Sean could get a surprise #1 if he gets enough radio support. September 9, 200915 yr Whitney not going to do well? :heehee: No chance at #1 I mean. Top 10, maybe top 5. It's still a bit early though...
September 9, 200915 yr I think Whitney won't do well with the single, definitely not top 10 anyway. I see no reason why Jay Sean can't be a firm contender.
September 15, 200915 yr re Vadges latest piece of desperate to be cool, clueless( 'Paul Oakenfold' permanently stuck in 90's *CHOKES*) turd of a LEAD SINGLE, FLOPPING wretchedly in comparison with many predictions/expectations here. eg. Is Madonna still for release next week? surely another No.1 for her surely?? Now for the MASSIVE U TURN excuses - lets start with # 8472  ; *dusts* "it was released too late ( cf radio release) and everyone got sick of waiting and downloaded it illegally" - yet other songs this year got released late and STILL sell huge - given decent enough exposure, especially for an established act, if the song has big enough comercial appeal it will sell ( perhaps 'celebration' WILL become huge in the comming weeks like ' 4 minutes' did but that is not "going str8 to #1 on week of release" ) etc etc etc Its a shame the possibility that so many people let their communities bias their descision making rather than using their own rational judgement ( eg how i mentioned in one of my recent posts that the exceptionally dire "officially released" physical sales of her last single 'Miles Away' could indicate the state her 'buy anything she releases' die hard fanbase was in.)
September 15, 200915 yr I think Chipmunk will beat Jay Sean, deservedly too. Down is really generic I'm with you, "Oopsy Daisy" is beautiful and it just really highlights how much potential Chipmunk really has. The lyrics are genious and the hook is brilliant, I cannot find fault with it.

YOU'RE STILL HERE?! :manson: :nocheer: And I am far from a Madonna fan, but it doesn't stop you from talking complete and utter shit again!
September 15, 200915 yr I really hope Cheryl can beat Young Soul Rebels but with all the chaviest songs being number one atm i dont hold my hopes up. Top three would be fantastic though.
