That's why i vote in the middle of the week. :D
Jark moved to uni today, so i think he's been a bit pre-occupied.

He's not moving until Monday, I even reminded him to vote at like 5pm

that Mans Zelmerlow track had better not DNQ by the way :smoke: it's my least favourite track on the album and it's still fantastic

oh, i thought he was going today.

Dundee freshers moved in today and will be moving in tomorrow too

Hmm? I don't get you. :(

Well.. errm.. I can try this:

If you send a really bad song from a really cheap artist/band..

That differs from a really good song from the same artist/band..

If you think a song will give you some really good results, and you send it, is that the same as being cheap? Just based on how well you think it will do, and not on how much you actually like it, or the quality of it? Neither the "artist-cheapness"..?

Does it all comes down to how someone thinks, when selecting an entry?

This was a bit harder to explaing than I thought in my head tho  but I hope someone get the picture

the difference is, if you're sending a song to try to get a good result, nobody can actually read your mind and tell that this is what you're doing unless you actually come out and admit it...I have admittedly sent a song for a good result a couple of times, Headhunted was one, what a MAJOR backfire that was, so I've never done it again after that  I'm sure all of us at some point or another have sent a song with the intention of doing well, but you won't get labelled cheap for doing so unless it's blatantly obvious that this is what you are doing, i.e. if you send the hottest song around at the moment

I can honestly say I've only ever done that once, by sending Serebro in XVI. In retrospect it was a mediocre song, and not really "me", and 17th was tbh better than it deserved. But my recent spate of so-called cheap entries is nothing to do with getting a good result, they're just songs I love and/or stole from Tron :kink:

that Serebro song was quite throwaway, it only hit me the other day when compiling my top 100 of the decade how AMAZING Song #1 really was
