It's amongst some of the best Rontvian entries ever there! Great to see Envole Moi in the charts! Must be the first time an Ashtonise discovery has charted in quite a while!

Quite possibly, I quite often already know your best entries but this is a true discovery! Glad you like all my 3rd placers :D

Sanne Salomonsen provides FSR Rontvia's first Danish language entry!

Danish veteran Sanne Salomonsen, career highlights including two #1 albums in Denmark and a successful appearance in Melodifestivalen 2005, where she finished 7th with Higher Ground, will represent FSR Rontvia in BJSC LV, which is held in Skall. RTVN head Ricardo Delta heard the song playing in McDonalds Copenhagen recently and instantly fell in love, wasting no time in asking Sanne to represent FSR Rontvia. It's the first time FSR Rontvia have ever sent a Danish language entry, former foreign language entries Värsta Schlagern, Om Sanningen Ska Fram and Maailman Toisella Puolen attracting a mixed bag of results, the latter two finishing top ten. The pop/rock anthem Du & Jeg is taken from Sanne's Danish chart topping album Unico and has already shot up the Rontvian charts, currently at #3 after heavy a-list rotation on Rontvia FM and Radio Ront. Hear Du & Jeg below;

Sanne Salomonsen DNQ's, FSR Rontvia's third in 55 contests

Du & Jeg by 58 year old Danish star Sanne Salomonsen has resulted in FSR Rontvia's first DNQ since 2008, when Mira Craig's Headhunted and Vincent's Miss Blue both missed the cut. Ricardo Delta said 'it's a bit disappointing for us and Sanne but we'll come back stronger. After two top five entries with dance songs we wanted to send something a little different but it didn't work out this time around. The song has been a big domestic hit regardless so it's good for Sanne, and nobody can complain at over 40 qualifications in a row!' After a huge outcry at the amount of faceless 'EDM' in this month's contest, it seems that the majority of the voters were happy to vote for it with it making up a good chunk of the final. Ricardo Delta said 'dance music has been the biggest selling genre in FSR Rontvia in 1999-2002 and now 2012 and so far in 2013, so we're more than happy at a final full of dance, and maybe we'll be back with a huge dance song very soon! Or maybe not, FSR Rontvia have never been one to follow trends!'

The Federal Republic is utterly horrified and disgusted that it's 12pointer has failed to make the final. A third undeserved DNQ for our dear allies.

The Rontvian flag is being displayed at half-mast across the country until further notice. The Rontvian government thank the Federal Republic for their continued support and goodwill and will air a specially thrown together edition of 'Panorama: Rontvia's run comes to a Sannesational end, where did it all go wrong?' on RTVN1 tomorrow evening at 8.30pm. Ashtonise television are welcome to show it live on their network if they wish.
SNÁ|1 was planning on airing a repeat but that has now been scrapped to run the RTVN1 special. The Federal Republic will lower the flag of FSR Rontvia on Federal buildings and will be carrying out a mark of respect by playing Smack Me across the nation at 1pm during which time the nation shall stand silently in solidarity with the fine nation of FSR Rontvia.

I thought you liked Colors, my previous entry? :o

Glad to see that it has some fans anyway, I'm yet to ever experience a complete semi-final flop, my 3 DNQ's have all been on the cusp of making it, Mira curiously further away from it than the others but she has that cult status!

LB9 for BJFestivalen!

Dance act LB9, responsible for smashes such as Breathe, Minderloopita and Vision Of Joy will be representing FSR Rontvia at the second BJFestivalen. Head of RTVN Ricardo Delta said 'I hope Back In Town goes down well across The BuzzJack World, it's already been a sizeable local hit and we're hoping that the success will spread!' When asked why it took nearly six years for FSR Rontvia to send a Rontvian act, Ricardo Delta said 'we usually source our entries from international acts, as every country do, but we thought we'd finally take this special opportunity to send a homegrown artist, as no country has ever done that before with an original composition!' Listen to Back In Town here:

:D

This takes me back to around the time we teamed up and created 'Breathe (Just Dance)'. What an epic song that...could be if produced properly. :lol:

FSR Rontvia are bound to do well with this.

I noticed! Although his is a cover, much like Charis' Westlife cover Amazing from BJSC2 (?). Back In Town is an original and allllll mine :D

The first ever BJSC entry where copyright issues such as uploading to Youtube are 100% impossible, because I own the rights to it :P
