I think the Top 10 sales this week are going to be really high, especially with 4 new entries and 2 week old songs. In fact when Muse take Esmee in the top 10 i will really love 5 songs, love 3, like 1 and find 1 old and average.

Yey for YMA6 at Top 40. Not that it's better than Finders Keepers, or better? Can't really decide which is better. :lol:

I think we could have one of the best top 10's for ages when Muse enter :wub:

 

An exciting week for me anyway, loads of great new releases and it's great to get rid of some of the older tracks which have been lingering in the 30's for a century :D

 

Good to see Livvi picking up the pace I reckon shes gonna make the top 40 by Sunday.

 

I really can't stand you me at 6's version of Pokerface it's just god awful and it annoys me that they are playing on the success of Gaga.

I'm very pleased to see You Me At Six are heading for another top 40. FK was hardly top 40 on iTunes all week but charted at #33 anyhow - with the impact on iTunes more visible this time around I'm sure this'll deservedly beat Finders Keepers' peak. Their version of Poker Face is good if a little odd - hope that can go top 75 alongside Kiss And Tell a la Pixie's Use Somebody cover.

 

Although I personally do prefer We Are Golden to Uprising, I feel Uprising would deserve a higher peak, as Muse tend not to do as well on the charts normally...

I don't think We Are Golden (song and video) are to be taken seriously at all - it seems like a fun pisstake of all other Mika songs. The next single will probably be a 'return to form' for him if you will.

 

I'm also pleased to see some of last week's releases reclimbing/holding up - namely Wale, Friendly Fires and Jamie T. Good to see Nneka clawing back into the top 20 despite being overtaken by the four new songs (and at points, the second version of one of the new songs plus a resurging old song)

 

Really hoping Livvi, P-Money and Deadmau5 continue to climb. It would be awesome to see Ghosts N Stuff entering the top 40 on sales of the instrumental before the vocal version with Rob is released, but I think it may stall at the 50s (or even lower). The version with Rob I think is another top 20 guaranteed, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Deadmau5' first T10. :w00t:

We Are Golden is admittedly catchy - the chorus sounds similar to Belinda Carlisle's "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" (Yeah, 1988 kids - YouTube it :P ) , but I do find it a bit annoying when you've heard it a couple of times.

 

And the video. Someone needs to remind him he is TWENTY SIX years old!

There's stuff on the album that is muchhh better. But all their stuff is pretty good for a pop punk band.

 

You Me At Six's physicals will be good too. That's how they got Top 40 last time with Finder's Keeper's. There's a 7" and a CD bundle you can buy - with either a wristband or a poster. Plus it's gone Top 40 on iTunes. Just hope the re-release of the album can go Top 40. They'll be extatic if that happens. Then new album very soon. :D
