I: b]Frahliso[/b] and Bokia; Lauren Rose - I Go To The Beach and Karolina - Se Lazam Sebe: The former received my 12, and is indeed a fantastically subtle and gorgeous pop track by unfortunately unknown Lauren Rose. The latter was a lovely Macedonian track which has quite grown in the years since!

II: Tyronosaurusland and Blackcurrantbillyoland; Regina Spektor - Fidelity and Rosie Thomas - It Don't Matter To The Sun: Ehhh, this was a bad contest, and the former wasn't a COMPLETE unknown but I didn't quite realise how much I loffed until the contest itself. Go'juss stuff. God knows WHY I gave Clea 12 though, I love it but srsly? :(

III: I MADE NO GOOD DISCOVERIES THIS CONTEST.

IV: Mdice; Wynter Gordon - Surveillance: I srsly thought this was going to win LOL :( Fantastically catchy urban pop with a KILLA chorus...quite why it hasn't yet been released is beyond me however.

V: Ehhh, Mdice; Utada - Exodus '04: This wasn't really an accurate discovery for this contest, but I'd known it for a few months as a result of Ben considering it for I (given this finished 22nd and Britney won it's a tad obvious he made the right decision in retrospect LOL).

VI: Could this one really go any other way? FSR Rontvia smashed their way into my attentions with the slagtastic electro of Untouched - Smack Me!, prompting the (in)famous Serebro-Untouched love-in and exchange of 12s!

VII: I was tempted to include Katy Perry here, but I would have obv heard it without the contest eventually. I would then put Maria and Mira, but I would've downloaded the album anyway...therefore this goes to the shockingly deserved high finish from Sangria with the fantastic urban-tinged pop track from Linda Kiraly, Can't Let Go, although Triodopolis' shock flop with Supergirl gets an honourary mention :cry:

:lol: It had BJSC written all over it and I knew it'd do well, and since the winner of that contest was so unpredictable due to the poor quality apart from that and Velvet noone really thought it'd do well :P

a lesbian duo with a rather subtle song is BJSC all over is it :heehee: catchy solo female pop seems more like it :w00t:

 

I can't remember who I thought would win...possibly FNT Nickodonia who would have deserved it just as much amongst the onslaught of the March/April release schedule :o :heehee:

The actual track.. yes.. :P Very rhythmic, memorable chorus with a nice pop tone that's not too in your face. I can't explain what I mean BUT it appealed to a wide variety of people :) Shush, I know what I mean.

 

If it's any conselation, Anna should comfortably win XX for you :kink:

I'm intrigued to see how well Uh Huh Her will do in the best of...I reckon it's a shoe in for bottom three, but it has a lot of muted support I guess :o I do think it will suffer in amongst the other incredible songs that will fill up the best of though, XIV was very weak indeed...
