  1. Ok I am not normally outraged at my own placements but 12 points for one of the most beautiful songs to have been released in a while is not ok. Should not have trusted the crossover appeal even when the track is hardly out there!!
  2. Delusional is pop song of the year and I do not take after the song title here x
  3. I'm voting too dw x
  4. Good job I sent a sultry R&B number because I am in pop heaven with this semi.
  5. When you see the atrocities committed, I am fully on board with the charged rhetoric tbh

It's crazy how it's feasible that Labour could lose so many seats but still hold onto some that Tony Blair failed to win in 1997. They could lose all their seats in the East Midlands except for Rushcliffe which was Ken Clarke's seat and famously safe Tory until last year. Similarly, Hexham which has been Tory since 1923 stays Labour (had an SDP rather than a Reform candidate in 2024 though). York Outer, Monmouthshire, Macclesfield, Stroud, Shrewsbury, Welwyn, Truro and Falmouth also should have no place in being part of the rump Labour delegation. Some of these Reform seats are very left wing and if the polling in 2029 looks remotely like today (big if), it all depends on how the narrative of the election plays out. There will be a progressive vote to coalesce in somewhere like Nottingham East, it's just a question of whether it happens around Labour, Greens, another force or indeed not at all.
  7. Update: I found another entry and it's another self-recycle except it's from 2019 so better.
  8. Ok but that's a member of the Libertarian Party which I think says it all. This is in some way an equivalent of the Rupert Lowe vs Farage drama where someone with a very online following has a fallout with someone much more prominent, far outside of any election season, and it ends up not mattering at all a few months down the line. Granted there weren't world-changing decisions being made in that conflict.
  9. It might cause some conflict now but just like the split over things like migration policy libertarianism or the size of government/its debt, I imagine conservative consensus will always end up gravitating towards what its leader thinks when push comes to shove. I don't think a difference in opinion over something as remote as foreign policy will cause masses to break from MAGA.

The vibe certainly doesn't feel like merely 45% of Britain want to vote for right wing parties, although admittedly I am not actually in the UK. It's 10% higher than that here in France and yet we are not in our second consecutive summer of pogroms against ethnic minorities.
  11. I only want to self-recycle one of two artists I sent last year atm so happy to stall out the opening till I discover something brand new.
  12. Gosh. The US is losing its democracy quite fast.
  13. ENDLESSLY fascinated by the opinions. Estonia's 2002 entry was a successful pop song sung by a blond woman whose dated cheesiness I thought would appeal to you and yet you rate it lower than their 2008 troll entry.
  14. A bit of a grisly rabbit hole but there is a Wikipedia page for sole survivors of flight crashes. Vesna Vulovic is a sole survivor who notably fell 10km and survived which is the highest freefall survived after her plane was brought down by explosives planted by the Croatian far right.
  15. The only country that uses it on our continent is Belarus. It's pretty fringe.
