Sorry Liam, I've just noticed, you have me down as giving myself 12 instead of Skall in the semi :P I don't know if that was a mistake at the time or not :o

Dat improvement from semi to final tho  Good lord, that really was the worst possible semi!

It was when I was adding in Skall's deduction I think, I accidentally typed away their 12 from you and re-attributed it to yourself oops :/

Have I ever had a final entry not frontloaded :drama: My 1st entry was like 30th a quarter of the way through and finished last in the end, my 2nd finalist was 3rd nearly half way through and ended up 25 and my 3rd finalist was top at some point and finished 24th

Anyway thanks for all the votes and great hosting hosts  Also yay for new best finish by 1 place *.*

Congratulations Lee! Very nice winner, I'd have preferred something less predictable, but a good winner none the less and I know how desperate he's been to win! (EMBARRASSINGLY so! :P)

Grr at being bottom, but, I guess someone had to! :P Thanks to all of you who did bother to vote for me, especially Isconia! Much love for that 15!

Screenshot version of semi 2 scoreboard just so there is one (and because I obviously have nothing better to do at all) ~

Unforch Republic of Adonia's 5 seems to have gone AWOL but it can't have affected any of the qualifiers, nonetheless if you could fill that in Math that would be good! :magic:

Adonia's 5 has been added in now - it was to Sigala, pushing him up to 4th in the semi.

Skall managed to qualify pretty comfortably despite receiving only 8 votes and getting a deduction, definition of Marmite it seems (in the semi at least) ~

And another huge improvement from semi to final for the winner, from 5th 4th in the semi to an absolutely massive win. I had a feeling RUUMER would have beaten Sigala in the semi anyway but still wow!

Congrats Lee on a deserved win! Particularly happy to see Greenfroze and Mulgracia finish within the top 10 and Altyr just outside it. Also, Skall's high placing (pre-deduction) was a very pleasant surprise.

Well done Mikey on all the work that went into hosting! I know you found it a daunting task beforehand but you pulled it all off with flair. And thanks to Math, Liam, Bré and Rob for your efforts too. :D

Didn't affect my qualifier so no worries!

Thinking about it, had one less person entered, I would've DNQ'd officially, eek!

The biggest beneficiaries of the 18 point system then are Thelonia (11 places higher than under the 12 point system) and the biggest losers from the 18 point system are Skall (10 places lower than under the 12 point system, with the deduction considered for both). Ignoring the possibly anomalous Skall result due to the deductions the biggest losers become Séyetana and Varakë, both 6 places lower.

Yay for the 18 point system getting me another top 5! Sorry Cody :P

Does someone have the semi 1 scoreboard?

Should've spoken up earlier but I feel we missed a trick by not having Altyr win. Having two artists named Awa win BJSC in the same year would have been quite the feat! Plus 'Obvious' was just the clear standout for me, I actually tried sending it myself (coincidentally I found it on Youtube whilst searching "A-Wa" to listen to 'Habib Galbi'!) but knew it'd already be taken.

Not to diminish Lee at all, 'Easy Love' is easily my fave of your entries this year so I'm glad it's now your most successful! Great to see Aquafina winning after coming so close so many times!

Kylienips did not disappoint with hosting either, well done :D

ew that winner

Well done on hosting Martin, it was a very good job.

Really happy with my favourite two songs being the top two <3

Only just caught up, can't believe I could have had a third top 10 if I'd actually entered Jai Wolf rather than change my mind about three minutes before confirmation opened. :drama:

Instead I DNQ'd through having less 7s (yes, SEVENS) than whoever finished 20th.

Not trying to hurry but is there any way this could go a tiny wee bit faster?

Considering I started at 8, when some hosts start at 7 and end up still hosting after 11. I must admit I practically done it, just under 3 hours, actually 2hrs and 40 mins :D surely this must have been the fastest final

I thoroughly enjoyed hosting the event, mind you I wouldn't do it again in a hurry

The only reason I asked this was because it took bearky 1.5 hours to get past the first 20, after which it was actually going faster

I was nervous at the start, but once I got going, I found my stride and I was in my element. plus the leaderboard did not help in the first hour, Rob and Bre came to the rescue there, thanks to them.
