Victoria Beckham To Re-Launch Pop Career

After she is sampled for Ibiza anthem...

By: Lowri Williams on entertainmentwise.com 8/13/2006

Victoria Beckham is said to have been delighted to discover that a sample of her track ‘Let Your Head Go†is being used on a new Ibiza anthem.

The sample from her song is being used by DJâ€s Kutting Edge on their popular track ‘Across The Universeâ€.

Rumour has it that if the ‘Across The Universe†goes down well Victoria may return to the studio to lay down some more groundbreaking stuff.

A friend of the former Spice Girl said: “Victoria had no idea her vocals were being sampled but sheâ€s over the moon that everyone loves it.

Sheâ€s been concentrating on her kids and fashion design business lately after vowing enough was enough with pop.

“Let your head go did do well when it was released three years ago – in fact, it got to number 3 so itâ€s great that it looks set to repeat the success.

“Sheâ€s glad sheâ€s not directly behind the release because she couldnâ€t face the embarrassment if it flops commercially.

“But if it does do well it will boost her confidence and sheâ€s said she will give a comeback more thought. Singing and dancing was always her first love.â€

Oh dear could Posh Spice be coming back…already????

  • David Beckham is being knighted, which means Victoria can go by Lady Beckham... she's a real Lady x

she makes good pop music imo, and she's not a failure. All her songs have gone top 10 (mabye 1 didnt?) who cares if she hasnt had a #1 single? nobody except people like Victoria Newton. This Groove was a great pop song, and let your head go was an enjoyable pop track also :)

I hope she does decide to make more tracks

It's sad, but no matter what the woman releases, she'll be panned -_- I'm really eager to hear this tune, trying to track it down!

I'd personally be interested to see this.. imagine if she got to #1 that'd mean every spice girl would have had a solo #1 :o

But what matters more is that she can prove that she's good enough and bring out that'd get her noticed which would be hard to do but I was a fan of her previous stuff and her album is the only solo spice album I own.

I always liked Victoria, and her music, but then again I am hope to some of the biggest flops music has ever seen so i'll hush. :(
I do like victoria and i hope she does make a music comeback none of her singles have seriously flopped and she is one of/ the biggest female in the uk with even an ok song she would go top 20.
hmmm I've only just realised that none of her singles have charted below #6 yet she's labelled as a 'flop' by people  then again her album entered at #10 and plummeted which was a shame as it was actually quite good :o
None of her singles have missed the Top10, but they all drop really quickly and sell next to nothing, her last record company went bankrupt promoting her. :o
And the one before that went bankrupt spending so much on Romeo's album expecting it sell 500,000
Her solo stuff wasn't the worst by a spice girl. Mel B's maes me feel sick :puke: I dunno I see the 'Wannabe' video where she just walks like a snob on the catwalk and doesn't even sing her own part just the chorus  Some of her stuff was OK I don't know why she fails tbh
I liked Victoria, espically Let Your head Go, so I hope this track does well. :D

And the one before that went bankrupt spending so much on Romeo's album expecting it sell 500,000

Her record deal before Telstar was Virgin and they're still going, non?

  • 11 months later...

Sure it'll be on youtube or denden soon x

it is repeated tonight on ITV1 at 11pm i think

a lot of it seemed staged though
