The cover is pretty damn amazing!

Now we know what the Mouth Of Sauron did in his spare time :o

Premiering 'Dope' at the Youtube Music Awards earlier:

Stunning performance. Shame the song is one of the weakest on the album.

I really like the song - one of the highlights on an album full of highlights. :kink: Hopefully it doesn't trouble the charts too much, can't have it being more successful than the sensational 'Do What U Want'. -_-
It's ok, better than Venus on first listen. It does remind me if another song though.

Well i've finally "got" this. It's still in the bottom 5 of the album for me but for a gaga-ballad it's up there as one of her best ('No Floods' will always be my favourite).

Feel like it needs an extra verse/chorus or something at the end because it's almost building to something that never comes. 'Gypsy' would have been the better promo single choice but hopefully she's saving that for a full single release.

This has just clicked! OMG!

I did much prefer this as 'I Wanna Be With You', I find it hard to take it seriously in this form.

Plus her slurring/poor diction (as with a lot of songs on this album) is a bit offputting. It's still alright though, but in the bottom tier of the album for me.

Really found a new appreciation for this song in the last week or so. So emotional!

I have just been on a bit of a Youtube run with various live performance of Gaga coming one after the other.

This one completely made me stop in my tracks. She talks of the impact of drugs and alcohol on her life and on the lives of many other stars that have passed.

When she says "forgive me Monsters, won't you" it breaks my heart. She owes the monsters nothing and sometimes we can be so harsh on her.

This song truly is her pouring out her heart to us and I know some of us aren't here for her vocals but I think her painful vocals are intentional because they represent the sheer struggle she is experiencing. Much like Sia's vocal rips in songs like 'Chandelier' ~ her pain is too great to conceal in this song.

It scammed its way to #8  Bye Felicia

Wasn't it just because of YouTube views that it got there (including live performance videos?). That's not a scam, unless I've forgotten another tactic they used? :gaga:
