New single from Katy Perry called "Chained to the Rhythm", which features Skip Marley. The track, which will be released this Friday, is expected to be performed at the GRAMMYs two days later.
Billboard wrote the text below in this article, but it was deleted. QUOTE Perry is expected to premiere a new song called "Chained to the Rhythm" featuring Skip Marley on Friday, Billboard has learned. It seems likely this could be the song she performs at Sunday's Grammy Awards.

Excited that we could be getting new music so soon but as much as I like reggae music, a reggae feature doesn't exactly get me hyped for the pop banger I was hoping for

A reggae artist featuring doesn't get me NOT hyped, I mean Popcaan has that kind of vibe at the moment and if Katy brought something kinda dancehall influenced then I would so be there. She's never been one to take too many risks with her big comebacks so I'd be surprised to see her releasing a reggae song first.

I'm interested, both for what it'll sound like and how it will pan out. I can see this being the era which buckles her if she gets it wrong.
