Hello as I make my return to hosting in AF Idol and WELCOME to ROUND 5, my personal favourite Round

 

In round 4, we lost Charli XCX and One Direction (aka Harry Styles). 18 forums remain, and everyone successfully submitted a song for round 5's worst single fun!

• Just post your TOP 9 songs, in this thread. It is to be NO MORE or NO LESS than 9. You can rank them anyway that you like, but anything under / over NINE and your votes will be void, unless it is edited and corrected to the correct amount by the deadline.

 

• It doesn't have to be in order of favourite. Every song is a point.

 

• PLEASE listen to any songs you don't already know. The Spotify playlist is there for a reason, or you can use alternative services like Apple Music or YouTube. There's no excuse for not filling in the gaps in your knowledge. Please also listen & re-discover all these classics.

Wow there are some shockers here *.* I was initially worried about sending Video Phone but aside from maybe 4-5 other songs overall the rest is tragic :lol: So excited to see how this round turns out good luck y’all

Don’t let the 5 minute run time of Video Phone put you off there is at least 20 seconds of a decent quality song there x

An actual strong round tbh.

 

Rise is one of Katy’s best for me.

 

There You Go is also a BOP.

 

Another round where I’ve voted for people I wouldn’t usually but I’ve been fair and voted on the songs not the artist. (Ari especially I feel I’ve shaded in this rate as I stan her but the choices just haven’t been ones I’ve stanned).

 

Never would usually pick a Bey track either but Gaga is on it and she’s everything to me so I had to vote on this rare occasion.

Considering the theme of this round, the final list of songs is pretty decent
