'Dirtee Cash' is really crap. But it's doing so well, which is a travesty considering some really great songs have/are tanking.

I hate "Dirtee Cash" personally, even from how the song's spelled I just knew it was going to be horrendous. Yeah Mikey I have to agree, everyone thought Madonna would have a sure fire #1 with "Celebration" yet it stalled at #3 thanks to Taio Cruz. British music is really dominating the charts this year.

Thank God Taio did stop Madonna tbh. Now THAT is a load of $h!t (Madonna I mean)

Oh god no. Taio is ok, nowhere near as horrendous as Dizzee, but Madonna is an absolute legend, though I appreciate that this particular song maybe didn't deserve number one. But the album will kick Dizzee Rascal's arse on Sunday, and that's all that matters :cheer:

I like a bit of Dizzee.

However Dirtee Cash is just lazy - I love the original and the Dizzee version is more or less just that - nothing new.

It will be the first Dizzee record in a while that I won't be buying, I'll be just getting out my Stevie V 12" I feel.

"Dirtee Cash" seems very poor, especially when your familiar with the original, paradoxically I've no doubt Dizzee's version is selling because the original is good and familar to many.

Pity the original is not available for download on iTunes because I would be buying it and imagine others would to.

I hate the fact that when new albums are released now, loads of songs start clogging up the charts straight away <_< were as an album used to have singles, which with 3/4 releases would span nearly 12 months (2 years if were Michael Jackson). Now an album is released and cherrypicked of it's decent songs (potential singles) from release day... Sadly it's the way it's going, with the whole 'everything now/instant access 24/7"!!!' mentality people are so used to :unsure:

How sad is it that both from Tinchy Stryder's and Dizzee's album is the most favourite songs are remakes of great old songs :angry:
