Ooo

X FACTOR bosses have been forced to wield the axe after one of the show’s 24 finalists broke the rules.

Insiders claimed one of the members of girl group Tru Colourz had fibbed about their age.

Viewers last night saw the London-based trio celebrating getting through to the final 24.

But the wannabes’ hopes of stardom will be dashed as one member is only 15 years old and therefore too young to enter the contest.

X Factor chiefs felt they had no alternative but to boot the group from the hit ITV1 show and mentor Louis Walsh broke the news to the three-piece London group.

Tru Colourz are said to be “devastated” by the decision, which will be shown at the weekend.

They owned up after being confronted by Louis, 56, but vowed to try again.

A show source revealed: “The discrepancy came to light as we were doing paperwork for the acts going through.

“It was clear that one of Tru Colourz had claimed to be 16, but was actually still 15.

“It was just a little white lie because she was so desperate to get on the show, but it has cost them.

“Naturally, they were devastated when Louis asked them about it, but they took it on the chin and admitted straight away what they’d done.

“Louis told them to come back next year.”

Their shock departure gives Harmony Hood, from Coventry, a second crack at fame as they will replaced the disqualified girls.

Harmony Hood set to be this years Eton Road who replaced Avenue 3 (??) years ago then? I actually quite liked Harmony Hood. I think they could do quite well.

It's also a shame too as I REALLY like Tru Colorz :( They were actually my fave group!

Oh so staged! All done for the cameras and the drama - I should imagine they were 'well-paid' for their part in this piece of semi-professional dramatics!

I for one do not believe they (the producers) didn't find this out well before now! And I'm sure most watchers aren't stupid enough to fall for it!

My fave this year is Stacey Solomon so hope she's in. STACEY TO WIN!!!!
Are they those Chinese lot ? no sad loss if they are they were crap anyways

yeah that was them, nice PC description there Craig :P

I'm backing Miss Frank for the win, i hope the get to the final 12

Miss Frank and Rachel Ade-whatever-ji get my full support :cheer:

Jamie 'Afro' got it sorted. Top 5 at least. No wonder Sex On Fire shot Top 6 after the auditions. :o

I thought you could enter X Factor at 14 now, or did I dream that rule change
Nope you didnt lol, it was changed back to 16+ this year I think - or maybe last year I cant remember what age Eoghan was...
how bizarre  no wonder she thought she could get away with it then!
I think Jamie Archer is very overrated, he wasn't that good. Daniel should be in over him!

My top 12 <_<

My finalists would be

Lucie Jones and Kandy Rain

I hope the first to go would be

Joseph & Edward. They are the most untalented group (duo) since the McDonald Brothers

They are also repulsive to look at and need taking down a peg or two.

I'm the only one who can't stand Olly Mur then? He just annoys me so much ... and he thinks he can dance! At the auditions his dancing was more like David Brent than anything else.

And he's got an average voice. I'd go so far as to say I hope those awful guys from Dublin go further than him ... at least they're good entertainment (for a laugh I mean).

Norma

He's vile in every way shape and form

and i would once more like to encourage the use of spoiler tags when talking about specific acts until the final 12 is revealed this weekend.
what ever you wanna chat about regarding specific acts that are on the final 12 list on the front page that may or may not be true
Thank you!

I f***ing hope

this twin duo of retardos

who think

they can dance/sing

will go.

But seeing that Louis got groups they will go to the Top 12.

UGH x1000000000000 :snif:

2009 is not a vintage year, there is only 1 who I think can be world class (Lucie) and 2 that have good potential (Nicole and Stacey MacLean) the others are just good karaoke singers and nothing more and ridiculously overated (Ethan Jamie, Danyl, Olly) or half decent pub singers (chav Stacey, Rachel etc)
