March 26, 20169 yr it's michael's obvious trolling as usual. next time i'll be deleting the post. consider it a warning, sarah Uh for what, having an opinion different to yours?? I'll explain why in detail later.
March 27, 20169 yr Honestly I'm sick and tired of people complaining of how much the show has 'changed'. It is on its NINTH season, the characters are bound to develop, get girlfriends and form relationships, get married etc, and the girlfriends couldn't not be part of their daily activities. Would YOU like to watch 9 seasons of 4 single men not able to land a girlfriend? I mean imagine if Raj still couldn't talk to women. I certainly would've bailed. So please deal with it or I dunno, stop watching? Could not agree more its like with Friends if the premise in the 10th Season was still them being single and trying to find love I would bail
March 27, 20169 yr Uh for what, having an opinion different to yours?? I'll explain why in detail later. Trolling, sexism? Women can be and are scientists as well you know? And you have already expressed your so-called opinion (about women not being funny basically) several times so that's probably enough.
March 27, 20169 yr As for the relationships being in the centre of the show... well, which sitcom isn't focused or has this theme running through it?! It's what people want. It's really basic psychology. The show is still extremely popular so they must be doing something right. Or maybe you just get off by being a contrarian?
March 27, 20169 yr The original premise was Leonard trying to get with Penny which was extremely consistent in the early series so relationships have always been key.
March 27, 20169 yr ''i'm not opposed to the notion of a deity but i am baffled by one that feels the need to take attendance''.
March 28, 20169 yr ''i'm not opposed to the notion of a deity but i am baffled by one that feels the need to take attendance''. Remains one of my favourite quotes of hers, seriously undervalued in the show. I definitely thought her entrance onwards was when I really loved the show!
October 19, 20168 yr Season 10 has started in the UK on E4! What a great series opener, I'm glad they didn't focus too much on their actual wedding seeing as they've already got married. The tension between everyone was hilarious (and we finally get a proper showcase of Penny's family!). Hopefully we get a little more on the Sheldon's mum and Leonard's dad story too, would be great if they get together.
October 19, 20168 yr Season 10 is proving to be my fave season since about 5 or 6 for me! Finding it genuinely funny and not just "lol". (And I enjoyed the later seasons too!)
October 20, 20168 yr I've been watching season 10 at US pace I think, and I gotta agree it is a brilliant season, the best for a long time! I haven't really been that crazy for TBBT in the last few seasons, so I'm glad this one is better
May 8, 20187 yr I've just seen the Bill Gates episode, it was so good! It's just a shame Bill was only in the episode for a very short time though
May 8, 20187 yr Can we merge with this thread please? didn't realise there was already a thread when I opened http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...heory&st=40 I still love TBBT obvs but the show is well past its peak, I wouldn't mind if it all wrapped up in season 12 just because all there seemingly is left to do is marry Shamy and finally get Raj and Stuart proper girlfriends. Hoping it ends with them moving out of their apartments just as they finally get round to fixing the elevator. :kink: was funny seeing Leonard get humiliated by Bill Gates anyhow.
May 8, 20187 yr Stay pressed. The show is still getting well over 10 million viewers per episode, people still love it. It won't get axed, the show will come to a natural end first and I imagine the series finale will get huge ratings.
May 8, 20187 yr It is a show pretending to be intelligent for dumb people. Absolutballbag of a 'comedy' HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
August 5, 20187 yr Amy is the one that makes me laugh most. I wish they'd show more of Stuart. Kill off Raj, and put Stuart in the opening credits instead.
August 22, 20186 yr As I expected then. I'm glad they're going to finally wrap it up but at the same time... omg I am cry end of an era
August 22, 20186 yr My friend is a big fan of the show so she'll be gutted. I've only ever seen occasional episodes of it but then again I don't watch E4 with regularity these days. I read the other day however, that the guy who plays Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is apparently working on a US adaptation of 'Miranda'. Has that been shown over in America at all? I know Miranda Hart herself was in 'Spy' with Melissa McCarthy but I don't know if BBC America have shown it at all (although Germany show a dubbed version on their Disney Channel, bizarrely enough).
