September 27, 200917 yr #37 for Basement Jaxx? Oh dear. Pleasing to see Kings of Leon still a few places ahead of Gaga... ^_^
September 27, 200917 yr KOL still top ten, should continue to hold off GaGa in YTD :w00t: Flop for Basement Jaxx though :(
September 27, 200917 yr Jade Ewen – My Man -- brilliant Just why haven't BBC playlisted it is a mystery Their too busy playlisting all that US R&B/Hip Hip rubbish There's only 4 decent singles in the Top 10 this week Shakira - She Wolf Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling Pixie Lott - Boys And Girls Mini Viva - Left My Heart In Tokyo Edited September 27, 200917 yr by Euro Music
September 27, 200917 yr haha, how did Peter Andre only fall 3-5! I was expecting a majorly quick fall  Jade is the first UK Eurovision act to have another top 40 hit after Eurovision since...James Fox I think :o and before that it was Precious
September 27, 200917 yr Abit of a suprise with Peter Andre to still be top 5 when he was 8 in the week. Flop for Newton Faulkner too. Abit of a meh song but would've like to hear it in the charts as they always play it in the gym i attend
September 27, 200917 yr Glad 'Energy' managed only a two place drop. I thought she would have dropped majorly, but thankfully promo this week helped her :D!
September 27, 200917 yr Good to see take that holding on for another week in the album chart this week,
September 27, 200917 yr I'm very pleased for La Roux, I hope that song becomes a hit <333 How awful for Pixie on albums though, and poor Basement Jaxx =[
September 28, 200917 yr Isn't this "Now 73"'s 9th consecutive week at the top of the compilations? Have any other "Now" albums lasted as long? Sales were so dismal for it last week I was certain "Now Dance Anthems" would knock it off...!
September 28, 200917 yr So pleased LoveGame scraped top 20 this week and pushed album sales back up, at least. It deserves to at least go top 10, hopefuly a X Factor contest performs it soon or something  ugh but anyhow at least her top 10 record is still content in the US. And woo @ Just Dance managing to just re-enter from the bit of X Factor promo it received. Poker Face and Paparazzi also holding up extremely well, still. The latter nearing Gold certification soon too. :cheer: Yay GaGaa.
September 28, 200917 yr Full top 100 singles +my comments on the top 40 and various others from 41-100, you can ignore that if you want ;D 1 1 2 taio cruz break your heart [rokstarr] A 2nd week at #1, the first song to do so for a long time. The 19th of July was the last time a song spent 2 weeks at #1 (JLS’ Beat Again). 2 2 7 david guetta sexy bitch [feat. akon] [one love] Great staying power for this song, which has definitely performed a whole lot better than expected. Four whole weeks at #2, the third song to do that this year after La Roux’s In For The Kill and Lady GaGa’s Just Dance [feat. Colby O’Donis]. 3 15 2 jay-z empire state of mind [feat. alicia keys] [the blueprint 3] Expected climb into the top 3 for the second single off The Blueprint 3. Set for a physical release on November 30th, but something tells me that’s going to be cancelled. 4 5 3 shakira she wolf [she wolf] Somewhat unexpectedly, She Wolf does manage to become a top 4 smash on its third week, aided by a physical release. Auuuuuu! 5 4 3 jay-z run this town [feat. rihanna and kanye west] [the blueprint 3] The former #1 from Jay-Z and co. is joined by Empire State Of Mind to give him the stunning achievement of two simultaneous top 5 hits. 6 7 16 the black eyed peas i gotta feeling [the e.n.d.] Oh, what’s that BEP? You’re going back up? On your twelfth week in the top ten? Oh, how peculiar. I hate you. 7 6 4 pixie lott boys and girls [turn it up] After dropping from #1 to #6 last week, Pixie suffers a slightly lesser fall of one place this week. 8 3 2 madonna celebration [celebration] A rather steep fall for Queen of Pop Madonna. Her 11th #1 album Celebration hit the top spot this week, probably saving its title track from spending just one week in the top ten. 9 8 5 dizzee rascal holiday [feat. chrome] [tongue n’ cheek] Dizzee Rascal’s fourth album was released this week. Despite it containing the three #1 singles Dance Wiv Me, Bonkers and Holiday (that’s this), it only charted at #3. It was only a handful of copies from #2 though, and easily gives him his highest charting album to date. 10 9 3 mini viva left my heart in tokyo [n/a] You have to admire this new female duo for bringing their debut single into the top ten and keeping it up there for three whole weeks. I mean, it doesn’t matter that it is absolutely EAR-RAPINGLY AWFUL, does it? Hello? 11 ** 1 dizzee rascal dirtee cash [tongue n’ cheek] A second appearance for the Rascal. This is an album track, supposedly the next single from Tongue N’ Cheek, and it samples ‘Dirty Cash (Money Talks)’ by The Adventures Of Stevie V, and it’s this week’s highest new entry. 12 16 8 the temper trap sweet disposition [conditions] As Sweet Disposition continues to pick up fans and airplay (now on Radio 1’s A-List and in the top 50 radio airplay chart), it climbs a further 4 places. The top ten beckons for the Australian band! 13 11 3 mika we are golden [the boy who knew too much] Another act whose new album was released this week, and despite the huge #1 success of debut album Life In Cartoon Motion, new one The Boy Who Knew Too Much sneaks in at just #4. Anyhow, We Are Golden suffers a much smaller fall this week than it did last. 14 13 9 little boots remedy [hands] This song has just finally stepped down from the #1 position on BuzzJack’s very own Personal Chart Multichart after 6 weeks, handing it over to Shakira’s She Wolf. 15 10 4 sugababes get sexy [sweet 7] Oh the drama with Sugababes at the moment. First it was Amelle leaving, then it was all fine, then Keisha’s leaving, then Jade Ewen’s joining, then pigs flew. The last ever single for Keisha Buchanan with her constantly-changing band falls 5 places out of the top ten. 16 18 55 kings of leon sex on fire [only by the night] It’s back up two places for the Kings of the charts. It’s bizarrely still ahead of Use Somebody which benefits from the X-Factor effect sending it back up the charts. Promo for US seems to work as promo for SOF too! 17 ** 1 basshunter every morning [bass generation] Everybody on 3. 1, 2, 3, WHATTA FLOP! The long awaited comeback single from Basshunter, lead single of his second English album, has managed to only make #17, being outsold this week by a 55-week old song. Boo hoo for the Bass. 18 12 3 muse uprising [the resistance] I blame it all on there not being a video for a whole week re: this peaking at #9. At least their album has done pretty well. They’ll crack the singles market properly next time around, I tell you… 19 25 13 lady gaga lovegame [the fame] So, after all that, after hopes and doubts and a big album and three big singles, LoveGame finally goes top 20 upon its physical release. Bravo to the GaGa for the simply stunning feat of 4 consecutive top twenties. You’re not yet Beyoncé though. 20 ** 1 example watch the sun come up [n/a] Possibly the most surprising track to be A-Listed by Radio 1 for some time, Example gets a top 20 hit with the amazing Watch The Sun Come Up. Things weren’t looking too bright when he was clearly making no impact at all on iTunes at the very start of the week, but things picked up fortunately. 21 29 7 pitbull hotel room service [rebelution] I finally heard this on the chart show (well it was the remix with Nicole Scherzinger but ya know) and it certainly is pretty good… what confuses me is why Radio 1 seem to be refusing to playlist this! Might go top ten in coming weeks. 22 17 12 beyoncé sweet dreams [i am… sasha fierce] Finally out of the top twenty for this Beyoncé track. It is beyond me how every single release from the tired I Am… Sasha Fierce album does so well, every time without fail. I hope Broken-Hearted Girl doesn’t follow suit. It’s crap. 23 20 11 sean kingston fire burning [tomorrow] Also dropping out of the top 20 is Sean Kingston. It’s at least had a decent chart run to make up for it missing the top ten. If Beautiful Girls was #1 for four weeks, and this could only manage #12… well that’s just senseless, no? 24 19 8 tinchy stryder never leave you [feat. amelle berrabah] [catch 22] Unfortunately, this seems to be a major flop in comparison to predecessor Number 1 with N-Dubz. Dropping steadily every week. And there’s a solo member of Sugababes v.4 on the featured credit, we’ll see another later on. 25 47 53 kings of leon use somebody [only by the night] There’s the second Kings Of Leon track, rebounding up twenty-two places to this week’s #25. Ethan Boroian sang it on the ever-popular X-Factro last week. I didn’t think he was that good, but the public obviously did, as the original is right back here in the top 25. 26 24 8 the ian carey project get shaky [n/a] I express shock week in, week out at how successful this superb dance track has done in the charts. Only dropping two places in its eighth week on the chart, there is American DJ Ian Carey. 27 14 2 paramore ignorance [brand new eyes] A totally unjustified, yet expected drop of 13 places for Paramore’s most successful single to date. As I thought they would, Radio 1 skipped playing this on the chart show. Radio 1 hate Paramore you see – don’t be fooled by the A-Listing of Ignorance! Same for Jamie T. 28 22 6 esmée denters outta here [outta here] A six-place drop for the Dutch Esmée. I have to admit, I’d love to be called Esmée if I were a girl. Very cool, Dutch-sounding name. This song, however, sounds distinctly NON-Dutch (is that a word? Non-Dutch?) and therefore I don’t like it. Then again, which songs DO sound Dutch? I still don’t like it. 29 23 10 mr hudson supernova [feat. kanye west] [straight no chaser] I wonder if Kanye will let Mr Hudson finish? 30 30 12 taylor swift you belong with me [fearless] I don’t like Taylor, and I don’t like this. It’s clearly only even in the top 30 due to Kanye. And yet Kanye’s track is one place above hers! Oh the non-irony. 31 21 2 paloma faith new york [do you want the truth or something beautiful?] A ten place fall for another big Paloma Faith flop. Interesting to note that Stone Cold Sober also dropped ten on its second week (then fell out of the top 40). 32 35 2 jay-z young forever [feat. mr hudson] [the blueprint 3] Somewhat surprisingly, the non-single cherry pick of choice from The Blueprint 3 is up three places to a new peak of #32 this week. This song samples ‘Forever Young’ by Alphaville, in case you didn’t already know. 33 26 11 jls beat again [jls] X-Factor runners-up from last year JLS are still hanging around in the top 40. Around this time last year we found out that Louis Walsh was the mentor of the band for the Judges’ Houses and Live Shows stages. 34 31 25 lady gaga paparazzi [the fame] Lady GaGa has had a pretty consistent year this year, without a single week where she was lacking from the top 40 (or, as is the case, the top 25). But with this on its way down and LoveGame epic-flopping that streak could be over sooner than we thought it would be. 35 ** 1 jade ewen my man [n/a] The promised second solo Sugababe (v.4). New ‘babe Jade Ewen was set to have the Eurovision curse on her solo career for all eternity, until she was thrown the lifeline of replacing the last v.1 Sugababe remaining. Radio 1 can’t ignore the freaking SUGABABES because of Eurovision, can they? :drama: Anyhow, this fails to beat the peak of debut It’s My Time (#27). 36 33 14 la roux bulletproof [la roux] This continues to steadily fall, now looking impossible to beat the 24 weeks top 40 by predecessor In For The Kill. Although this outpeaked In For The Kill, IFTK looks set to have more weeks in the top TWENTY (19) than this will manage in the top FORTY. Oh the flop followup… 37 27 7 calvin harris ready for the weekend [feat. mary pearce] [ready for the weekend] This underwhelming followup to huge #1 smash I’m Not Alone continues to flop epic style. It crashes down another ten places to this week’s #37. It was NOT a good idea to release this, as good as it is, Mr. Harris! Flashback would have been more appropriate. 38 37 14 pitbull i know you want me (calle ocho) [rebelution] Now well and truly behind Hotel Room Service, Pitbull’s breakout top 5 smash I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) from epic flop album Rebelution drops the one place on its way out of the top 40. 39 ** [131] 1 jordin sparks s.o.s. (let the music play) [battlefield] A song which I cannot avoid liking even if it is by Jordin Sparks. S.O.S. seems to be a common theme – a ton of other artists have brought songs called ‘SOS’ to the top 100. Rihanna, A-Studio (with Polina), The Shamen, Oliver Cheatham, Jonas Brothers, ABC, ABBA, Filterfunk… and then there’s Edwin Starr with a ‘Stop Her On Sight (SOS)’, Bruce Foxton with an ‘SOS My Imagination’ and Retta Young with ‘Sending Out An SOS’. 40 39 13 cascada evacuate the dancefloor [evacuate the dancefloor] Imagine the annoyance I felt when this old, annoying tune only fell one place and opened up the Radio 1 chart show. Groan! 41 38 7 jeremih birthday sex [jeremih] 42 55 19 dizzee rascal and armand van helden bonkers [tongue n’ cheek] Dizzee’s second single from the already twice-mentioned Tongue N’ Cheek album receives the album boost and flies back up 13 places, just missing out on a return to the top 40. 43 74 2 naturi naughton fame [fame ost] The biggest climber within the top 75 this week is a stunning 31 place climb for this tune by Naturi Naughton. The film Fame that it comes from was released recently, in case anyone’s wondering about this massive climb. Expect it to reach the top 30 at least next week. 44 42 16 david guetta when love takes over [feat. kelly rowland] [one love] 45 43 7 keri hilson energy [in a perfect world…] 46 36 6 just jack the day i died [all night cinema] And it’s back out of the top 40 for Just Jack. Will he return? Probably yes, but not this era. 47 44 20 the black eyed peas boom boom pow [the e.n.d.] 48 46 44 jason mraz i’m yours [we sing. we dance. we steal things.] 49 28 4 wale chillin [feat. lady gaga] [attention: deficit] Lady GaGa is back to just two entries in the top 40 as this track she is featured on tumbles out after just three weeks top 40, well short of the tallies of Just Dance (22 weeks), Poker Face (32 weeks), Paparazzi (on its 16th week) and even epic flop LoveGame (on its 6th week). 50 50 19 daniel merriweather red [love & war] Expect this to climb next week due to the X-Factor effect. 51 32 5 nneka heartbeat (chase & status we just bought a guitar mix) [n/a] A rather large fall for this huge surprise of a hit. 52 51 37 lady gaga poker face [the fame] There she is again for the fourth time. 53 45 16 pixie lott mama do (uh oh, uh oh) [turn it up] 54 re 6 alicia keys if i ain’t got you [the diary of alicia keys] The X-Factor effect at its non-KoL finest for the week. After being used three times on the show in two days, you’d expect it to maybe be a little higher? Still, a solo return to the top 60 for the artist who is at #3 this week with Jay-Z. 55 91 2 la roux i’m not your toy [la roux] La Roux gain their third top 75 to date with this, another epic flop follow-up to a big #1 single. Physically released now, where will it be next week? 56 ** 1 beyoncé broken-hearted girl [i am… sasha fierce] Another top 75 hit off I Am… Sasha Fierce. I’m starting to get pissed off at this. Should go top ten before too long. Crap song, but hey, it’s Queen Bey, eh? 57 re 20 seal kiss from a rose [seal] A return to the singles chart for Seal. Seal’s name makes me laugh. This is more X-Factor effect in case you’re wondering why the fuck Seal is back. 58 63 4 deadmau5 ghosts n stuff [feat. rob swire] [for lack of a better name] Okay, I’m rather distressed at the fact that the newly added vocal edit of this song is performing so badly on iTunes. Unless something rash happens, this is a totally unexpected and undeserved epic flop. :( 59 41 10 lily allen 22 [it’s not me, it’s you] 60 53 14 florence + the machine rabbit heart (raise it up) [lungs] 61 72 5 mumford & sons little lion man [sigh no more] Nothing more needs to be said. 62 49 2 hockey song away [mind chaos] 63 57 28 la roux in for the kill [la roux] 64 54 3 florence + the machine drumming song [lungs] 65 34 4 booty luv say it [n/a] A welcome huge drop from this crappy song. 66 61 23 tinchy stryder number 1 [feat. n-dubz] [catch 22] I mentioned this earlier in my comment about Never Leave You. It still remains here in the top 70. 67 68 2 kid cudi make her say [feat. kanye west and common] [man on the moon: the end of day] A climb of one to give Kid Cudi his second UK top 67 hit. This song samples Lady GaGa’s Poker Face, but the public clearly prefer the original, up there at #52 on its 37th chart week. 68 60 16 noisettes never forget you [wild young hearts] 69 62 8 florence + the machine you’ve got the love [lungs] This is officially the fifth single from Lungs. Will probably end up doing far better than Drumming Song. They need to release Cosmic Love soon though… 70 66 20 keri hilson knock you down [feat. kanye west and ne-yo] [in a perfect world…] 71 ** 1 newton faulkner if this is it [rebuilt by humans] A rather epic flop for Newton Faulkner’s return. Last time around he hit #7 with the incredible Dream Catch Me. This, sadly, doesn’t get anywhere near that level of success. May push a climb next week though. 72 64 17 kasabian fire [west ryder pauper lunatic asylum] 73 52 3 livvi franc now i’m that bitch [feat. pitbull] [underground sunshine] 74 87 28 journey don’t stop believin’ [escape] I don’t know why it’s back in the top 75, but I hope it gives it a rest soon. It flopped, now go away. 75 89 39 lady gaga just dance [feat. colby o’donis] [the fame] The X-Factor effect brings this back up into the top 75, so the GaGa has five tracks in the top 75! 76 48 4 jamie t chaka demus [kings & queens] Bugger. 77 71 16 jordin sparks battlefield [battlefield] Dropping out of the top 75 just in time for S.O.S. (Let The Music Play) to take over. 78 40 2 cliff richard and the shadows singing the blues [reunited] Just one week in the top 75 for Cliff and The Shadows’ epic flop comeback. The album was a #6 in the end though. 79 59 10 4 strings (take me away) into the night [n/a] 80 73 20 the veronicas untouched [hook me up] 81 90 33 beyoncé halo [i am… sasha fierce] Why is it going back up?
