If it stays around the #12 mark on iTunes all next week, they'll go Top 15 for sure before the physcial release. And if Ant & Dec do them justice and they break the iTunes top 10, and they maintain that position, then they could possibly have a Top 10 before the physical release..

 

RATM is at #7 which should allow 'Ego' to climb to #11 on iTunes tomorow!

The new irish charts were announceed today, a day early this week as its christmas chart, saturdays climbed 4 places to number 24 with ego,

RATM have dropped down about five places in a few hours, and 'Ego' is closing in on Chipmunk......

 

I expect 'Ego' to possibly be in the top 10 either late tonight or early tomorrow.

Didn't perform anything, do we know whether they're performing it on the TOTP New years episode?

 

I honestly think if they fail to go top 10 they could be in trouble. At least when Girls Aloud failed with Untouchable they had the excuse of little TV promotion as they were on tour and a double platinum selling album already. By rights the saturdays SHOULD easily crack the top 10 - it's released on a quiet week, their album has sold next to nothing and they've done plenty of promo (Switch, GMTV, Alan Car, live lounge, etc).

 

It's been shoved down on iTunes again with all the gift card vouchers, Fight For This Love, Bad Boys, Everybody in love, Watcha Say, Black Eyed Peas all leap frogging them - and some of those like Cheryl's have 3 versions in the top 100 now.

 

It's a great tune and should be at least top 3 but I hope it at least goes top 10. If it doesn't I'm not sure what's wrong with them to be honest

I think it will crack top 10. It's a very quiet week, usually lowest sales of the year and the song is already in the top 25 on downloads only. I don't want to chance saying this, but this COULD be a #1. Only thing that could hinder it is if too many people download it before release and it costs the song much-needed sales for the top spot.

if it doesnt crack the top 10 next week then they are in trouble, this era is not going great. I hope the record company give them a 3rd album, but they need a much stronger single than forever is over or ego! I keep saying i am a huge saturdays fan, but wordshaker is not a great album and really is missing an 'up' or 'work'

I think Work and Up were the only "great" songs on the first album, whereas on this one I think Ego/Not Good Enough/Wordshaker and One Shot are all fantastic.

This will go top 10 id say. Its re-overtaken Cheryl again on I-Tunes last time I checked and will probably be safely in the top 10 next week...

Aaaaah, that is so dismal for the album. :( One week before the second single's release and the album has fallen even more within the top 200.

 

Hopefully with it being 'Ego's release week and it hopefully set to scrape the top 10, the album can make a leap up into the top 75... though it still needs to be way higher.

I think it will do more than scrape the top 10, because of all the christmas songs falling out & some other old songs falling too and if it does a jump like it did this week than it could be in the top 10 a week before the official release. :) fingers crossed though! :D
